Guest guest
i just listened to a little story that brought a tear to my eye.... the ending quote was... to the world, you might be just one person. to one person, you just might be the world. so true!!!!!!!!! love, debby
Guest guest
I saw that same quote the other day.. quite a bit over the past few weeks, actually - there's probably a lesson for me there. at first glance it seems touching.. but if you're the world to someone, doesn't that leave that person with a lot of egoist attachment ? Guest guest
i'll add to this..the story i listened to was about an sad old man. he was going though an old trunk in the attic after his wife passed away. he found a journal that belonged to his son at the age of 6 yrs old. he didn't even know his son kept a journal. he wondered why his wife kept things like this. reading the entries brought a smile to his face. he thought about he business journal he'd kept over the years. he went and got out one of his journals from when his son was 6 years old. he opened his up and read an entry that said wasted the whole day fishing with john (his son). didn't catch a thing. he opened his sons journal to the same date. in big letters it said went fishing with dad...best day of my life...what seems small or a waste of time to us could mean the world to someone else. hope this expands the meaning as it was for me... make someone's day... @@i just listened to a little story that brought a tear to my eye.... the ending quote was... to the world, you might be just one person. to one person, you just might be the world. so true!!!!!!!!! love, debby@@

Guest guest
I got something out of both points of view, and actually laughed out loud at your comments, Matt. It was a good point you were making, regardless.
