was a common mudra.. but didn't see anything.. then again noticed my

hands in that position.. and my finger tips and thumb tips were feeling

In Gyan Mudra the rings made by the thumb and index finger, are not interlocked.

In fact each palm should be resting on the thigh. & nbsp; The correct way to do

Gyan mudra is to apply gentle pressure at the finger tips till the pulsations

are felt and be always aware of the pulsation. This awareness is very important.

Really one should learn Mudras from a Guru, on one to one basis.

Comnplete awareness of what one is doing is of utmost importance in Yoga Asanas,

Pranayama and Mudras.

This site give some information on mudras :

Hi Matt, I used to do that naturally a couple years ago and did find

something on the net about. It was a mudra for protections. It was

when I was having an entity problem that it was happening with me. I

think it serves the same purpose as crossing you arms across you

chest which is what chrism has suggested to someone here. I do that

naturally while I sleep, as well. The other I was finding myself

doing during meditation.
