Guest guest
Why is it that so many think of the Kundalini as a fire one should not touch? The way I view it, is that if it is coming from the One love (God) as our divine gift of true self. Why do so many seem to fear it? If it is to connect us with all that is and to awaken us from the illusion of seperateness from one another, why do so many people fear it? I would love some thoughts on this!! Guest guest
Hi M Maurie In my opinion it's all ego playing it's role in humanity . Some who have knowledge with kundalini will feel that others might not be ready and use fear to make separations from those that they decide as their students . I believe some will try and hide this knowledge for their own self power over others . I agree with you and also believe that enlightenment is the natural evolution of humanity . When the time comes and the person begins to awaken to their true self . I don't believe the fear instilled by others will make much difference after the awakening begins . I do give respect to Kundalini as it is a powerful energy that can bring on so many different levels of conditions to the individuals bodies . I believe kundalini is as natural part of our life but we have forgotten and thus the awakening begins and we soon realize that their is no need to fear kundalini but to honor and respect it as a part of our self . blessings

I think for some, it is part that old Christian fear of playing with anything that doesn't sound Christian enough (snake/fire goddess ... think about it). I don't think it is a good idea to change the jargon though. I don't use terms like " Christ Consciousness " (in part) because the now non-Christian part of me feels that all it is is a sop to that mind set. The former Pentecostal who still respects that belief would understand the view of some fundamentalists who are offended by it. I'd rather see more psychological languaging, as I am not fully comfortable with all the Sanskrit, either <g> ... but I can live with it. I also think it's about legitimate fears that not everyone who is drawn to play in fire is ready for it. Not everyone has a blissful experience at first. Kundalini can trigger psychotic episodes in some people - See the subtitle to Dr. Sanella's book " The Kundalini Experience - Transcendence or Psychosis? " ... I went through a pretty challenging experience initially, and I didn't even plan to trigger it (I'd never even meditated at the time). People who hear about that are understandably concerned. There is another fear - the fear that you'll change and won't be the same person anymore. A controlling loved one may find you less easy to control or manipulate. A needy loved one may find you less available. An otherwise " together " friend may just worry that you'll grow apart. Brandi

Guest guest
Yes, I see. Its about letting go of all conditioned belief systems which incircle fear and misconception. If one strips themselves of these conditioned belief systems & ideas about themselves, the world in which they live, their place in the world as well as the unlimited connection with all living beings.... Well, the Kundalini Awakening then becomes a very natural happening... In which releases all that is un-natural. It is the release of toxins from the body, mind & soul. It it balance on all levels. Guest guest
Great energy come with great responsibilty. The Kundalini is like LSD in the way that it magnifies our fears so if you are not " ready " or " pure " the fire can burn you. A really bad trip. But I love the mantra: F alse E vidence A ppearing R eal Love Elektra x x x ________ Sent from Mail. Guest guest
Again to the way back machine, after my experience I was seriously open. This is back to the time of coffee houses and folk music. In the sixties.. I was at a local coffee house one night when we had a real beserker show up, very very bad trip. Yelling threatening violence. The cops showed up and I intervined. I talked to him. I spent the next 5 hours guiding his trip to a different place. I got him calm and talking and took his " trip " from horrible to being able to deal with it. Lots of people had very bad reactions to acid back then and I became the local law enforcement answer. I spent 4 years on call for every bad trip the Hyannis police dept had. I was and still am amazed at what the mind can induce in people. K changes the body chemistry, Lsd simply makes your liver secrete different chemicals than it normally does, Lsd does nothing on its own, the liver does the work. Lsd just switches it on. I do have some interesting insight in to the evils that are set free with acid, and how people deal with it or not. I did about 400 calls before I could do it no longer. Doing the contact high and climbing in with them and then trying to turn the horrible to the positive just wore me down. I do know I helped quite a number of people, including the PD. their original answer was the ER and a ton of thorazine, and we did stop that. Blessings on you all Wow, flashbacks for sure. Guest guest
Yes, that is a great Mantra. It is how a person should look upon fear at every moment. I could understand one needing to be ready, for it is a very personal choice. However it is going to be betowed upon all sooner or later. But what is meant that one must be pure? If you are pure before you seek, then why seek? To be pure is to be whole. Guest guest
Pure as in " pure of intentions " or " pure of thoughts " , if we have a lot of garbage stored up (ego and memories, scars, paranoia's etc) we can manifest these thought forms in record time once fully K active, it manifests quickly enough without the extra k-ilowatts behind....LOL The purer our thought forms and reactions to life and the Kundalini the more beautiful the experience. Instead of the word pure I guess you could also use " loving " . (i know words mean different things to different people, to some " pure " may not mean what it does to me!) Thats what I was getting at :-)) Love and happy thoughts Elektra x x x ________ Sent from Mail.
