Guest guest
Marijuana Marijuana is not a plant that I will suggest anyone use in any way for any reason. If a person has had extensive experience with this plant certain areas of the crown can become overheated and over energized and can in some cases have a damaging effect. A burning of the lotus petals can be experienced. This goes for the throat chakra as well and can initiate the de-energizing of the second (over time). Moderate users can become addicted to its effects but some positive benefits can be accessed. The safeties can take on a powerful position while inside the THC. They can be come quite strong in what is given and what is released. The same experience can be had by practicing them with earnest and sincere motivations which the THC can sap. If you have used this for years but have stopped do not fear or wonder if your past historical use of these plant has done any permanent damage. If you are inside its usage do consider removing yourself from its influence and approaching the Kundalini without this application of a potential dependency. Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms) As far as Mushrooms go it is one thing if you are brought up in a culture that uses them for the advancements they can give it is quite another to use them by yourself or with other recreationally minded people. Mushrooms do not have to kill you or drive you nuts. When they are mixed with an intention of awakening the Kundalini or " finding God " or any of a number of intentions the response can be far more than the individual can handle. So much so that years of painful restorative processes can need to be utilized to come back into balance with the physical expression. This doesnt happen to everyone and some can have a bright and interesting experience with light bearing fungii and plants. But if you do not have guidance you run certain risks. I do not promote or support anyone using these avenues to activate the Kundalini. An endocrine system is hard to replace. Magic Mushrooms can just blow you wide open. Some of THE WORST Kundalini experiences can be had by the use of this chemical for those with a natural leaning towards the expression of the Kundalini. So not saying " everyone " . Please be advised. This can activate you but in a way that throws you into the fire. Kundalini takes time. For a person to increase their personal frequencies to the point where they can: 1) Activate it 2) Hold that activation 3) Allow for the changes to occur because of the activation 4) Turn that activation into an awakening There is no rush, this isn't a race. Go slow and bring the body into a condition for the expression of the Kundalini. Give yourself a chance to breathe first. Psilocybin thrusts a person into the astral through all of the protective aspects of the auric shell and into the waiting arms of many unfortunate experiences. Literally. Doesn't happen every time. But for those with a predilection towards the Kundalini it can have a devastating effect. So to be safe. I would advise those of you here looking to activate the Kundalini to stay away from Psilocybin. Alcohol Alcohol is more damaging that most other substances for the human body in general and I do not suggest its use by anyone. I know consuming it is a popular thing to do. One must source their priorities when looking at some of these popular yet damaging practices. Same goes for smoking or meth usage or any other kind of cellular destruction we employ in the name of " recreation " . If you " must " indulge in alcohol then the least damaging will be that of wine or some of the less processed beers. In a definite mode of conscious moderation. It may seem that I am approaching this from a point of being unaffected by the legality aspects and the " nutritional " assumptions that the government and medical establishment place upon the consumption of alcohol and you would be correct in thinking so. I do not buy into that programming. But these are just my thoughts on it, you will do what you please. But please note that in the context of the Kundalini the less you do the better. Ayahuasca Ayahuasca also known as the " Vine of Life " can bring the Kundalini into an active state. If there is a plant that I would use for this purpose, Ayahuasca would be it. Once again though taking Ayahuasca with out conditioning the body, and mind, and psychology, in order to process what occurs, can lead to a scary or unfortunate experience though these types of experiences with the Ayahuasca are not common. Guidance and protocols are, once again, key to the experience being positive and safe. I would not suggest doing this at home alone or with the kids running around. There is a degree of reverence and respect for this process that needs to be honored. Awakening the Kundalini through psychedelics: It wont always happen. It does sometimes. It isn't needed unless you are in a hurry or are guided to do so. I wont recommend it at all, but if you do feel guided to do so then Ayahuasca is the " only one " I will suggest. The safest way is still hard. Conditioning the bodies. Emotional, mental, spiritual, physical; this will give you results and the ability to hold it without going nuts. This is what I recommend. This will take you the farthest and allow you to hold it and increase that holding as you progress upon the path. It requires working with issues and areas with in that are not always fun and not always with interesting phenomena. But it works and it's safe and it allows you to go beyond into the areas of phenomena and sensation. And as you pass those attention tests you go into the important areas further up the mountain. Conditioning the bodies. Emotional, mental, spiritual, physical; this will give you results and the ability to hold it without going nuts. This is what I recommend. This will take you the farthest and allow you to hold it and increase that holding as you progress upon the path. chrism

Guest guest
I've smoked my fair share of dope over the reason, and have come a point where I don't want it anymore.. Over the past 10-13 years.. there's been times I've smoked it once a month, couple times a week, every day.. comes and goes in cycles.. Recently though, since getting into meditating (about 8 months ago).. when high.. I started noticing I could the energy moving around my body.. simarly energy I could get if I meditated for like an hour, would appear instantly if I was baked.. only stronger.. sometimes while being high I'd get anxious and in the past not realize it.. but would feel an energy block, somewhere in my body that would cause me to get more paranoid and more anxious.. but I've learnt recently.. I can mentally push the energy block away. I've had some very interesting experiences while high and meditating. Smoking weed/hash, brings an curious release of energy.. that's made me wonder - is POT stimulating Kundalini/prana energy? I've yet to have strong feelings of Kundalini energy IE crawling skin, or whatever so I can't compare.. but things I have felt mildy while sober, seem very similar to the more intense energy I've felt while high. I'd like to add.. I'm not looking to over stimilate Kundalini.. or make the energy more intense or awakening faster through drugs.. I just find some of the simularities interesting.. Also.. if pot does stimulate those energies, that would be another reason for me stop, which I've pretty much done at this point anyway. Does pot stimulate and activate those energies while high, or is that energy a " fake feeling " from the THC. I really feel like it's stimulating and making you more aware and sensitive to the energy thats there. On to Mushrooms. I had done mushrooms a few times while I was younger, but hadn't done them for 6 or 7 years until recently.. a friend I did some a couple times.. I had completely forgotten about the awareness and lucidity that they bring on. Since starting to become curious about Kundalini, due to some things I was experiencing... one thing I noticed was trees were looking different.. couldn't quite explain it.. then one day I was looking as the trees, I realized what appeared different.. contrasts were popping more than they used to.. probably simple due to greater awareness of the things.. but I find that it is very similar to the way things look with a mild mushroom buzz.. everything seems to " pop " more.. little subtle things stand out much more vividly.. like reflections in water... or leaves blowing in the wind, etc, etc.. I'm not suggesting anyone should start doing drugs or anything like that, I just find some of the similarities very interesting. Guest guest
Obviously they're anti-marijuana/cannibis. There's also reports that it also causes lung cancer when most of the cannibis smokers are also cigarette smokers; the latter most definitely a known carcenogen. The former, cannibis, hasn't been tested without the cigarettes involved. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the subjects in the study already had psyciatric issues to start with especially since it's well documented that a lot of folks with such issues tend to self medicate long before seeking help that will actually work. Guest guest
yeah.. and drinking water, or breathing air can lead to those same things I think that sort of propaganda is just carried over from the 30s, 40s and 50s, and the whole start of the War on Drugs.. Just like how they used to say Marijuana was a gateway drug, that resulted in Herion addiction. Further more.. if you believe marijuana can cause you severe psychiatric illness.. and then after using it, you happen to develop a psychiatric illness.. did the pot cause that? or did your belief the pot would do that, cause it? If someone is susceptible to a psychiatric illness, then for sure Marijuana could probably help bring that out, but so could a lot of things. My opinion is Marijuana is not the cause of any of the conditions you stated and that is just propaganda to scare and bring fear to people (those who use and those who don't) - KEEP THE PEOPLE SCARED and SLEEPING! Guest guest
Prime example? The movie from the mid-30s (1936) called Reefer Madness where one of the reasons for making it illegal was due to all the blacks going out and raping women. What a bunch of hooey! A very lame excuse to blame bad behavior on something other than right where it belonged. , Matt Ingram <mattingram wrote: > > yeah.. and drinking water, or breathing air can lead to those same things > > I think that sort of propaganda is just carried over from the 30s, 40s > and 50s, and the whole start of the War on Drugs.. Guest guest
I don't smoke pot, hate anything smoked and don't take anything that will make me more psychically sensitive (Chrism was right about it being contraindicated when you're trying to raise Kundalini). With that disclaimer out of the way ... At 12:01 PM 6/8/2008, you wrote: >Prime example? See http://www.huffingtonpost.com/maia-szalavitz/reefer-inanity-never-tru_b_58353.ht\ ml - good blog article on the studies mentioned. It's amazing people still believe marijuana is all that dangerous- Reefer Madness was thoroughly debunked decades ago. It's become synonymous with histrionic propaganda, it was that bad. But let's talk about a far more obviously dangerous drug. Alcohol. You hardly ever hear about some guy coming home stoned on pot and killing his family or going on a stoned rampage and killing cops, or driving stoned, do you? It's just ridiculous that marijuana is still illegal while we have governments making gazillions in tax revenues from alcohol. I see only one reason for the hysterical propaganda that still continues - you can't grow a bottle of beer in your own back yard. It's all about $$$. Guest guest
Rationally, no one has ever died from cannabis, but untold thousands have died from alcohol and tobacco. I would be quite happy for cannabis to be legal, and in fact all drugs, just so long as people understand that they can't sue the makers, providers or blame anyone but themselves for any ensuing problems. With the current healthcare crisis, it only seems logical to legalize self-treatment. Just my thoughts. Much of the problem with legalization comes from conservatives who believe that if some drug is available, that people will not be able to control themselves. I do not believe that is true, and I think that those believing it do harm to us all by their expectations. HOWEVER, for those of us on the K road, I think we have to be very aware that drugs can have an effect that goes beyond the physical. Having grown up in the 60's and enjoyed them greatly, I now limit myself to the occasional aspirin or herbal tea. I'm sure that part of my awakening did come from the psychedelics I took, and I do feel there are areas that are in need of healing. Would I do it again? Probably not. But I do think we should have the right. But Chrism makes a good point about warning us. Few, few, drugs have positive sides. Shakti can give a much better experience, and healing anyway. Guest guest
Giving up pot has definitely been part of the changes I have been through in prep for- or in response to the kundalini. I smoked pot for years, so it was some acheivement for me to give up. It was smoking pot that seemed to make me feel energies much more acutely. I felt like i was then weaned off it. i also tried taking mushrooms, a very mild dose. That wasn't exactly an enjoyable experience where it felt like the kriyas were getting out of control. It probably would have been okay if I had let them run thier course but I think there was an element of fear involved...worrying my head was going to blow off, Lol. Anyway letting go of all that, all part of the changes one goes through. Guest guest
I personalyl don't know how people can do drugs, drink alcohol or caffiene and have the kundalini. Its weird becasue those thigns never even come to mind anymore. This may seem like a weird question and some what off topic, but chrism? do you think its possible that some of the problems I've been having, mainly to do with axiety, to be a cause of an entity coming in to me from doing all sorts of drugs in teh past? I've been bad and have done just the worst of drugs on a daily a long time ago. I think I still suffer from it. , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Marijuana > Marijuana is not a plant that I will suggest anyone use in any way > for any reason. > > If a person has had extensive experience with this plant certain > areas of the crown can become overheated and over energized and can > in some cases have a damaging effect. Guest guest
I had an experience about five years ago concerning alcohol abuse and giving entry to entities to feed . This was about one year after my first " K " infusion six years ago . During a dream I was guided to what seem like a bar or club that was serving alcohol . I was able to see the entities in this place and it was like a feeding frenzy . There was a guy that look to be pass out drunk at the bar and many entities were entering and leaving his body . I was directed to watch this guy and then the man stood up and turn around towards my direction . I then felt a chill as the guy standing there looking my way was ME . I was still dealing with the issues that I was using the alcohol in the past to cover but I have not drink one sip of alcohol since that night five years ago . Maybe just a dream but it definitley had an impact on my life .
