Chrism and Group,

I happen to run across this poem that I thought was pretty inspiring.

I also thought it might be nice for those in preparation for

Shaktipat. For the most part, it is a love offering to the group (

that is if you haven't already seen it):

Hiss! Kundali sting ego mind

With nectar poison so sublime

Penetrate my rainbow lotus shrines

Making me to my Self Divine!

Kundali bless me with thy blaze

Delusion suffering fear Efface

spine darkness with thy lightning light

Fragrance me! Negative karma ignite!

Oh Mother of the mystic deep

You are life, its livingness you keep

Remove shadow of death from me

In Shiva deathlessly to be!

Alakh Niranjan Om Shiv Om!

Alakh Niranjan Om Shiv Om!

-poem taken from " Dew-drops of the Soul " by Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath

note: for those who may not figure it out, the " Kundali " referred to

here is in fact Kundalini.

Boundless Blessings,

Fashji

Sorry Prasad,

I should have considered that. Frankly, I do not know because I don't

speak Sanskrit. However Wikipedia defines it this way:

Alakh means " that which is not seen " (invisble)

Niranjan " that which is without stain " (pure) and it is another name

of Lord Shiva.

Om- Sacred syllable representing the primordial substance from which

all is created or manifested.

Shiv - Shiva

SO maybe it could be, and I mean could be: " Invisible and pure, Lord

Shiva, thou art divine. "

Prasad, it's a guess on my part..It could mean something else. Maybe

someone who understands Sanskrit will come to our aid. But it was the

poetic description of the Kundalini traveling up along it's pathway

that attracted me.

Dear Fashji plz forgive me in the ambiguity in my words.....

What i was reffering to here was that if you have the sanskrit text

for the english poem ...is the whole stotra written in english itself....

the last 2 lines are to address shiva.....thanks for the wonderful

explanation for the last 2 lines....its a mantra addressing

shiva...what you have explained is perfect

and im from india and have studies sanskrit for some little time....so

i can be of help for any sanskrit texts for translation.....

thanks and regards

Prasad
