Guest guest
I recently read on some website about how to eat watermelon. There is a little trick with eating watermelon, btw. It should be eaten on an empty stomach and eaten alone, not even with other types of melon. Nothing else should be eaten for an hour or so to give it time to leave the stomach. Watermeoln isn't digested in the stomach and is the reason it should not be eaten with any other food. When eaten with other foods it will not leave the stomach properly and can cause stomach upset. Now I understand why shakti has had me to eat my watermelon when I first get up in the mornings. That has been my favorite time to eat it, for breakfast. Sometimes I have eaten it late at night when I have stayed up very late and my stomach begans growling. Hehe! Bessings & love, Linda
Guest guest
Yes Linda I'm sad to say I've experienced some melon-cholic symptoms from drinking the juice of this beautiful fruit as part of any mixed melon " smoothie " or WORSE in using it as an intended solvent with fatty foods. Indigestion disaster for those unlucky to have a gall bladder weakness !! But aside from its use in hydrating the body, I've found ANY melon or melon juice is a wonderful inclusion and energiser, whether or not as part of a fasting diet, to make the mind one-pointed. I can understand why values it so highly in the lead-up to Shaktipat, though as Linda has pointed out, water melon isn't helpful inside a MIX of root vegetable or other fruit juices and, for fasting purposes, should be taken as a water substitute in its own right. ============================= Linda wrote: " I recently read on some website about how to eat watermelon.
