I was able to have a little sk!nny dip late last night and bask in

the beauty of the full moon. It felt magical! It was the first time I

ever saw the aura of a tree, too! It was like a white mist about a

foot out from the tree following it's every contour. I was thrilled!

I did the usual locks, some spinning (as in 1st Tibetan), some deep

breathing and also Shakti prayer. Lots of love and gratitude was sent

out from this " happy place " I found myself. Niiiice!

And a bit of Shakti in a dream I had this morning (Oooo, my back is

on the move!). I had a rather extensive dream about getting back with

an old boyfriend and helping him out of a very sticky situation (I

still think he was a soul mate I pushed away) and it ended with him

giving me the most beautiful big round cobalt blue satin cushion to

lie on. I immediately thought of Shakti in the dream. I was

astonished he'd given me this stunningly beautiful jewel-colored

cushion. It was like a dazzling sapphire. Anyway, it was a nice

dream. Made me slightly nostalgic.

Love to all in the time of the Strawberry Full Moon and upcoming

Summer Solstice! It's feeling pretty good!

Unfortunately in mid-Kansas we were under heavy rainy cloud cover, so the full

moon was in my mind's eye only. But we worshipped her just the same! I cleanse

my crystals in the full moon, and they can feel her, even if we can't physically

see her. I am, however, looking forward to our annual Summer Solstice campout

this weekend. Three days of ritual, dancing, frolic and meditation. I'll feel

like the energizer bunny when we get home! We also plan an excursion to the

lavender fields, and make a new lavender wand and pick fresh lavender to hang in

our homes. Part of our ritual is to bring the old lavender from last year to

burn in the ritual fire, as a way of cleansing - removing the old and welcoming

the new! Bask in the Balance - that's our theme for this weekend. I made

chakra charms for everyone to carry with them, and use during our meditation

walk.

Have a great weekend everyone!

It was huge! I didn't get to enjoy it because I had to study for

finals. Oh well. 2 exams down, 1 more to go in 3 hours.
