Guest guest
They will just eliminate the group. I have been told and warned and I will not sacrifice this community over its placment in . I can sacrifice and purge the archives. Take all of the " bad " material out first. If the group is alright with this then we can go that route. Please do not write to at all regarding this matter of placement. - blessings and love to you all! - chrism

I would rather not have to worry whether or not I use the word " tantra " or " sexuality " in a post. There is nothing " bad " about being designated " adult " . That didn't used to have unclean connotations. Adult is just adult. We're supposed to be the free thinkers here <g>. And I can see why we'd be put in the adult group! We do discuss sexuality here on occasion, and even though it isn't explicit, I'd be uncomfortable with kids reading some of the non-sexual material too. Sexual topics notwithstanding, teenagers just aren't ready for this, in the vast majority of cases, imnsho (never mind some " adults " ). We can ignore the ads if they bother us - or read the group in email, I never see them that way. Brandi
Guest guest
Well I say lets remain an adult group then. And as adults we have the choice to not bother looking at the adverts lurking at the bottom of the main page. ) I would much prefer to have the archives uncensored. Guest guest
I agree, we should not give up the archives to get out of the adult category. I think things should remain as they are. There is too much valuable information to lose. Sarita , " gleno " <gleno wrote: > > Well I say lets remain an adult group then. Guest guest
I've hit a snag. According to Wikipedia: " In 2001 deleted adult groups from its search directory, making it very difficult to locate groups with adult content. A user who wishes to find a group with adult content must therefore either know the exact name of the group, or attempt to find it by using a search engine or one of several online adult group directories. " The solutions I can think of are... 1) Creating a new group that acts largely as an signpost straight to this one - containing enough information for the needy to assure its genuine nature. This would retain high visibility, but have relatively low traffic. 2) Run an archiving utility on the existing messages, and bundle them up as a single file (or maybe 1000 per file) in the downloads section - this wouldn't be scannable by the robots, and would preserve the accessibility. 3) Put KAS1 on the healing group and do an incursion on it. Kundalini will find a way! Tom , " Sarita " <sarita1969 wrote: > > I agree, we should not give up the archives to get out of the adult > category. I think things should remain as they are. It troubles me that so many of us are so uncomfortable with the idea that people might see this discussion as " adult " . It's going to come up here, we can't pretend the root chakra doesn't exist. Discussing that openly can only help us. If you don't like the ads, don't click on them. Better yet, read via email, you won't see any adult ads. I don't. >I would much prefer to have the archives uncensored. How do others feel? Definitely uncensored, and I don't think needs to set up a feeder group or change anything ... his own web site acts as a way for people to find it if they are interested and my wager is word of mouth accounts for 90% of the membership as it is. Maybe someone could do a little bit of SEO on the site though to help it come up higher on Google ;-) ... Brandi

Guest guest
I don't see a problem with the label per se, but it makes the group much less accessible and harder to search for. It would be nice when someone is in crisis that they found this group rather than the one that comes up first which is inactive. I don't really see our discussions as adult material. It's fairly tame here. Besides that, we have had some younger people on the group and they should be able to get help if they need it too. Guest guest
I agree. We are no longer listed under the Kundalini search of Groups. That is what saddens me. We can't be found. I tried looking. So freedom of speech may be good if we're only thinking of ourselves, but I believe most of us would want to be accessible to those in need because that is what this group is about. imho. Guest guest
Hi Brandi, I agree. I do all my with email (I'm also a peak oil doomer Grin!) For what it's worth as a newcomer here, I found the KAS1 website first, spent quite a few days reading and used the link on the site to join the group. Only been to the group site maybe 2 or 3 times. Peace Don > > Amen. After all ... we're all adults, right? What is our problem with that > label? Guest guest
Several of us run servers and could host the group free of and free of ads... I know Sarita has volunteered her machine, and I could look into what it would take since I run a dedicated server. Peter , " chrism " <> wrote: > > They will just eliminate the group. Guest guest
Chrism, I just HAVE to jump in here! You cannot operate from a base of fear and expect to lead us to not be afraid! EVERYTHING happens for a reason, always for our highest good. For the highest good of us all. If YOU don't have faith that all will be okay, how can you expect to teach it to us? You must HAVE NO FEAR! love and light, honestly, Carol

Guest guest
Hello Lock, No worries and I do not know why this is being brought up. This is from a ways back in the group. We are in the " meditation " catagory which I feel is appropriate. Nothing that you have done wrong my friend. And I will be deleting any future reference to it. We are NOT in the adult catagory and if you wish to bring up subjects that are not appropriate to this group please go to the tantra group which is a sister group to this one. The tantra group IS in the adult catagory and we can look at your question there. Thank you for curbing your street language here it is much appreciated Lock. - blessings - chrism
