Guest guest
Hi Everyone... I forgot to mention something very important that I have learned about knowledge. The study I undertook of Kabbalah is in a way similar to Gnani Yoga, the yoga of knowledge. What happens is that those suited to it learn so much stuff that eventually they realize that they cannot possible contain it all, cannot learn it all, and even that the Whole is not made up of the sum of its parts. One realizes (*I* realize) that one knows nothing at all! It's good for explaining things though, and I hope you will bear with me, as it is how I talk! LOL! There is insight possible with the right knowledge. But, it is supremely important to realize that the word (read: knowledge) is not the thing. The map is not the territory. Knowledge does not translate to enlightenment, but enlightenment comes usually in increments by means of intuition, which happens after one has gone as far as they can with their reasoning powers. Here are the lyrics to a George Harrison song called The Inner Light: Without going out of my door, I can know all things on earth without looking out of my window, I can know the ways of heaven. The farther one travels the less one knows the less one really knows. Without going out of your door, You can know all things on earth without looking out of your window, you can know the ways of heaven. The farther one travels the less one knows the less one really knows. Arrive without travelling, See all without looking, Do all without doing. Guest guest
You know, I get so much knowledge out of pretending to have knowledge that I reach a level of understanding that even I refuse to understand. , " Thomas Brooks " <magick41 wrote: > > Hi Everyone... > > I forgot to mention something very important that I have learned about > knowledge.
