Guest guest
Welcome Andrea, Yes your first Shaktipat. No big deal as of yet. lol - Not quite the same as an attunement or a strict focus on the tummo. It may take you a little while longer to build up a charge for the Scatterfield to resonate with in regard to your practice of the safeties. Phenomena etc. Giving to you I felt some Lamas I have seen before on a cliff doing the tummo " lets dry our wet clothes in the blizzard " thing and we had a chat concerning the totally different mindset of the western oriented person and how the Kundalini and meditations such as the tummo are in some ways greatly misunderstood. One thing was clear though Andrea. You can have and hold the Kundalini. It is for you to have and your spouse can also have and hold this. It will take a rearranging of your thoughts and priorities though. An understanding of your literal innocence. A surrender of your " knowledge " and control. To even just surrender control is often a great challenge. I offer you a very small spark as large as a grain of sand and as powerful as the heart of GOD. This is the Shakti znd She is yours to work with Andrea. If you choose to.- many blessings Andrea - chrism
Guest guest
Chrism, funny you should mention the Lamas & the kundalini/tummo heat. I first came across kundalini & tummo through reiki having had the pathway opened that way. Since then, I've leaned more towards the practice of buddhism (coupled with reiki, the safeties & tibetans). When I first started the path of awakening the kundalini, there were times I seriously thought I was on fire or something; even change of life (tho no prior warnings one usually gets). I had heard you could feel warm. (laughing my behind off) This was anything but warm. LOL Niagara Falls & I competed on who did the best waterfall. LOL Then came the twitches; usually as I was drifting off to sleep or to a certain point in meditation. No biggie there as I'd felt that as a kid quite a few times under the same auspices (more as I was heading off to sleep or just deep in thought - not really a big time meditator as a kid but loved to just think especially late @ nite into wee hours of am). There are times when doing the meditations that I will feel the fire more (usually when I don't make reiki as big a part of my practice. It just won't be near as intense as it once was; probably in part b/c of the safeties & the reiki (won't do the k w/o the reiki - feel the requirement to keep that as part & parcel of the practice part perhaps my own safety). And, yes, I've always trusted my gut instincts. Hasn't led me wrong so far. Don't get as much of the being slammed back into body during sleep anymore that I used to get. Kind of miss it in a way. Kind of reminds me now of David Bowie's commercial a couple years ago where he falls to earth & , after picking himself up & dusting himself off, he mentions the landings are getting harder & harder.
