Guest guest
If I may add my two cents: When you activate your kundalini and get it up to your sahasrara you do not automatically become a Buddha or some kind of saint. Indeed, by then you are a different person, live a different life, and have different experiences. However, what happens after that will still take you by surprise. Thing is, the rise of the K through your bodily chakras is a charted territory--everybody knows at least something about it, and there are tons of books and websites describing its phenomenology. What happens after the K hits your crown chakra, however, is still mysterious. I wonder if this area of silence is intentional. Or perhaps not enough people have gone through it as to be able (or willing) to tell this side of the story. Either way, letting Kundalini rise to your crown chakra is not just an end in itself, as most books on the topic will tell you. Rather, it is the beginning of a long, long journey. Be prepared to have your mind stretched in all directions, and your beliefs challenged in all sorts of ways. Sel , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Kundalini is stand alone. While I was always interested in spirituality the true meaning of spirituality as service did not hit me until my early 40's. I don't know if having K active automatically makes one a better person right away - though I believe it must do so eventually. I recall reading something early on - I wish I could recall the name of the guru, but he said essentially " If one was a jerk before enlightenment, he'll be a jerk after enlightenment. " Now what he meant exactly by " enlightenment " I'm not really sure <g> ... the way I took it in the context it was presented though is as " awakened psychic energy " , and that much is true. I know a lot of people who are powerful psychics who are about as earthy as it gets, and not always in a good way. Brandi

Guest guest
@@@ " If one was a jerk before enlightenment, he'll be a jerk after enlightenment. " @@@ I don't understand how that could be. There are many fake christian out there who pretend for some reason or other (mostly because of money interests), but their actions and words will give them away eventually. If a person was not transformed by the enlightenment, I would think they were fakes, in it for the money or fame. Trickters, experts in magic. It took me a long time before the real transformation occurred. And I certainly wasn't seeking fame or money. I'd have given anything back then to have it not happen. Guest guest
Those who say that and believe it only speak of the narrow phenomena of " magnification " Linda. Some do not or are unable to accept the enlightenment of the Kundalini. Not at first...lol - blessings - chrism , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > I don't understand how that could be. Guest guest
Once we catch " it " we've lost it again. The moment we have it defined it loses its meaning. LOL!
