Guest guest
hello all Kundalini will bring up past memories that we must reflect upon to help us grow . The way I understand is i must not make attachments to the memories or they hinder my growth . Can the same also be said for the future ? Making attachments for example a new house and then working towards this goal . By making this goal is it now an attachment of the future that is now effecting my experience of living in the now ? I've been going through some internal changes lately and it feels as though im gradually becoming less emotional . I am not neglecting my emotions and yet i feel less joy , anger , excitement , compassion . I feel completely neutral and with no overpowering thoughts occupying me steadily as they did in the past . Is this also a part of the kundalini ?
Guest guest
An emotional body platuea chris no worries your K is strong and the bodys will need a chance to process. As far as attachments go there is a difference between attachment and intention. Go ahead and intend for your new house and the way to pay for it. Make that come into the physical. The attachment is in desiring it " too much " or becoming obsessed with it. An intention can turn into an attachment if you let it. So just dont let it go that far. Set the intention nourish it once a day. Then forget about it - literally. Let the seed grow with out digging it up to see if it has sprouted. - blessings chris and you are right on about memories and how they help us to grow. - Good questions and a good teaching chris! - chrism , " Chris_H " <chghes1 wrote: >hello all Kundalini will bring up past memories that we must reflect upon to > help us grow . Guest guest
So attachments or things and circumstances that we become obsessed with. I don't think I am obsessed with much of anything right now except kundalini itself. I have had many obsession in the past, though and the results of them still linger here in my home. I have had a need to house clean for a while now and get rid of things I know longer want. *sigh* Even some of my brother's and my sister's obessions have worked their way into my home. Can an emotional platuea last for years? I can remember in my younger years it was like I was on an emotional rollercoaster, up one minute and down the next. I just thought this mellowing out of emotions was just something that came with age. For the last several years though, when some emotional type thing happens, it like I am on the outside of myself and only observing what is taking place and not feeling the emotions of the situation. I do have my moments though, like yesterday, talking with my 2 year old grandson on the phone. My daughter got back on the phone and told me he was giving the phone hugs as I talked to him. I got very emotional over that. Linda , " chrism " <> wrote: > > An emotional body platuea chris no worries your K is strong and the > bodys will need a chance to process. Guest guest
Very strange, as I had the same experience over my grandchildren this morning, wanting to write a letter to my son and daughter expressing my extreme happiness in having these two beautiful angels. And now I have gone back to bed for the past hour unable to hold my head up. This is unusual for me. So whatever is going on with you, Linda, must be going on for me too. Let's see what happens...........
