Guest guest
Many of us live our day to day life from the emotional body. We work and learn, express and create from how we " feel " . So one can see how from this platform balance in most useful because an out of balance emotional body due to Kundalini can be very disturbing for a person also having kriyas for example. Kriyas can come with their own emotional content and the combination can be overwhelming. So here is what one can do. 1) For anger issues be as forgiving as you can. If the anger feels as if it will dominate you as best you can go and be by yourself and seethe. Then let it out and get it out. Scream, yell, shout if need be but do as best you can to release the anger and stop a toxic infection of your system. Do your best not to cuss. But if you need to...well....you know what to do. If you " can " just " change the channel " and immediately move on. Do your forgiveness's from the heart - make them real - then you can indeed step right past the demonstrable stages. It takes practice. 2) For depressive symptoms. Go out and help someone other than yourself or your family. Some stranger or some person. If this is too scary then yes a friend or a family member. Go out and help them for a day or a week or a month. Take your mind off of you and your issues for a time and allow the restorative aspects of time and your love being gifted towards another to help you overcome the depression. Another way is to engage in heavy exercise. Aerobics or running. Hiking or climbing. A member here I believe it was Chitranatya describing her hiking through the mountain trails. Don as well walking through fields and meadows and climbing mountains. These are excellent activities for those in need of releasing depression. Don't need a mountain just get up and go around the block to begin with. Another way is to sing. Sing out loud and strong! Be happy with your voice and sing! Sing in the car, in the shower, in the house. Sing anywhere you can! This will have the action of matching harmonic vibrations to your five body systems. These harmonics can alter your feelings. So sing it out! Also pray. Pray for goodness and helpfulness for another person. Pray and release that prayer into the cosmos then think on it no more. Completely release from the prayer and consider it a seed that has been planted. 3) For grief. Often one may need to have this experience. Yet not to the point of being obsessed with it. Let it be processed by the emotional body. This can take time and so be patient with yourself. Be tolerant of your needs in this area and seek the company of friends and family if possible. Eat and drink nutritiously even though you may not feel very hungry. Smaller amounts of food if you can. Be OK with yourself as you weep and shudder this is fine and needs to occur. As time passes the music of life will once again lift you up into its arms and you will again strive and bring your own unique expression into this song of life we all share. There are more ways but try these if any apply to you. Kundalini can enhance all of these expressions so be advised and be forgiving not only to others but to yourself. - blessings all - chrism
Guest guest
I agree with Chris in every respect, and have my own interpretation of this truth that may prove useful to others. your emotional body carries within itself the pain of your own karma, this life and past lives. the kundalni opens up those memories of pain being experienced in the past and brings your karma on you in every waking moment, and with the 6th chakra open, the " real time " experience only amplifies the pain giving rise to our emotional pedulums swinging faster since the fear is amplified. i personally notice this greatly. the emotional body would be of the element of water in its fluidity and high and low tides, these being our emotional swings. forgiveness, compassion, and acts of love are the pure fire of spirit within, that through acts or events of its activity " purifies " the watery aspects by applying heat through the solar plexus, the main seat of the kundalini. The memories are purified and you move further through your karmic wheel. In order to create the strongest link with your spiritual body, your Higher Self, the old waters or memories need to be purified through the Holy Fire. Its main mode of work is Sacrifice as all of the acts of forgiveness, compassion and Divine Love are acts of sacrifice of the Old Self, the Ego, or Personality in becoming renewed and restored to its original state of purity. Hence the true meaning of the Cross of Suffering best symbolized through the story of Jesus Christ but also seen before in the Story of Osiris, who first went to the Underworld Below to become a king there (as Jesus did in the tomb) by taking control of his demons (pain, negative memories) and becoming resurrected as the Divine King of Heaven Above. Sheds some light on the Caduceus mystery and of Hermes whose winged shoes and helmet symbolize the Above and Below, Lower and Higher Self as One. So the way to the higher self is through acts of sacrifice such as forgiveness, love, compassion, all ways of accepting Unity in all things and restoring the Singleness of Spirit, of The Number One, the number that gives rise to all other numbers through multiplication, and having as its polar opposite the infinity of Existence or Cosmic Consciousness in Kundalini terms. Guest guest
This is very useful info for me, thank you, chrism! I do need the help with inner anger. I try not to show it, not take it out on anyone but it builds inside me to the point of exploding sometimes. I need to work on this. Also now I understand the strong desire I have to sing. I do all you mention but also am driven to sing in groups-choirs, ensembles, quartets. Other people are integral to my need to sing. So now I understand why I get such a high out of it! Love and hugs, Valarie (wet and chilly in Wales...hooray!)
