Guest guest
Hello Brandi, Kabbalah is a path and from a linear point of view a clear one. Though the terrain can get a bit rough with human ego trying to make the best choices for others as well as itself. - lol. Like all things I suppose. Kabbalah is a path that will awaken Kundalini and in this path it can be understood as "Shekinah." This would be a close approximation of the Sacred Feminine in a patriarchical belief system. Here is a picture of the Shakti forming a pathway through the "Tree of Life": tolsnake.gif Posted by Ilene on 6/29/2002, 42KB This is my interpretation of this picture and I do not know whether or not the authors of the picture Feel the same way. But this is how i view it. Shakti walks most paths toewards the enlightenement experience and Kabbalah is one of those paths. Do not let others tell you the correct way to walk the Kabbalistic path unless of course you trust their judgement and you see them as a teacher on this path. Many of the keepers of many religious systems feel that of enlgihtenment "It must take a long time and be very difficult or it isnt real" They fail to realize that wre all come with unique timelines and agenda's. So you can walk this path and let God speed your way. My undestanding of Kabbalah is that it is based upon the experience of the circular areas in the picture with the Old hebrew names like "Binah" etc. These areas represent certain qualities of expression and experience. They are as a guidance or a chart and one is to advance into one after experiencing another and so forth. I recognize eleven of these areas where as the common tree of life recognizes ten. Anyway Brandi there is the quick rundown of my opinion regarding Kabbalah and Kundalini they are paths that are going the same direction one merely has more of a singular religious foundation that the path I an walking. I embrace many of the paths not at the exclusion of any singler one. - , Brandi Jasmine <jazztalk wrote:>> Chrism, I am wondering what you know about Kabbalah and it's possible effect in raising Kundalini. > > Brandi
Guest guest
Thanks ... I've seen some things that indicate that Kabbalah going to be in the news in the next few weeks, and some people may be interested in pursuing it. I'm wondering how safe their practices are. I am just wondering if it is too strong to suggest to people that they be very cautious if they are going to pursue it, it seems to be a dangerous path to me - or perhaps it is not so much the path but the quality of those teaching it? I don't know enough to say just yet. I recall seeing some similar things back in the 90's when I was living in Vancouver, and one Chi-Gong teacher after another blew through town, leaving a swath of destruction behind them. It wasn't Chi-Gong that was the problem, but the fact that none of these teachers was doing anything like the " safeties " and none were teaching any form of grounding. You can imagine what I was seeing. >My undestanding of Kabbalah is that it is based upon the experience of the circular areas in the picture with the Old hebrew names like " Binah " etc. These areas represent certain qualities of expression and experience. This isn't something I feel ready to pursue, I have some concerns about it from some things I have observed and I just wanted to get another opinion. Guest guest
The Qabalah (Hermetic as opposed to Jewish Kabbalah) contains within itself a hierarchy of Divine names that can be used by mystics to trigger a kundalini awakening. These Divine names are evoked into the aura through vibration, much like a mantra. Unlike the kundalini, which moves from the ground up, the Qabalistic divine names are evoked, or invoked form the top down starting with the crown. A most famous of these invocations or rituals is called the Middle Pillar (google it) used by most Hermetic based magical systems which uses only the middle pillar of the tree of life, through which the kundalini rises anyways. This ritual can stimulate the kundalni, it uses prana in a similar way, or for people who have had the awakening, it can help balance the person (hence the name middle pillar) emotionally and mentally. if anything, after a few weeks of use, youll have some cool out of body astral experiences so i recommend anybody to try it. Like i said it is the bread and butter of most Hermetic magical systems. , Brandi Jasmine <jazztalk wrote: > > Chrism, I am wondering what you know about Kabbalah and it's possible effect in raising Kundalini. > > Brandi > >
