Guest guest
I have come across this quotation from Osho on another site. I personally do not agree with this, with my little book knowledge about K. In India K is considered as Feminine a Godess ! From Osho : " The whole physiology, the whole psychology, every layer of the feminine consciousness is different from man's -- not only different, just the opposite. For example, kundalini yoga... it is not for women at all. But many will be shocked if I say that. And women particularly will be shocked. They will think that something has been taken out of their hands. It is not for them at all because kundalini is based on the positive sex center for man. The positive sex center is at the root of the penis -- for men not for women. For women that center is negative, and energy cannot be raised from a negative center. So almost always it is the case -- this is my observation -- that whenever women say they are feeling kundalini arising in the, they are imagining. It cannot happen but they are very imaginary, more imaginary than men. So if I work with ten women and ten men, nine women will feel the energy arising and only one man will feel the energy arising. This is miraculous because it cannot happen! They go on coming to me and I say, " Okay, it is happening. " What to do? It is impossible, scientifically impossible, because energy can come only from a positive pole. Totally different techniques should be developed, totally different techniques -- but because man and woman live so near, so close together, they go on forgetting that they are different. Nothing is similar, and it is good that nothing is similar, because that's why they can become one circle of energy. They are complementary, they fit into each other. But because they fit that doesn't mean that they are similar -- they fit because they are not similar. " . . . Connect with friends all over the world. Guest guest
He is partially correct imho. Man and woman are different. And yes there are aspects that are unique to the specific gender. And yes some people will imagine and they will buy into their imagination and they will have Kundalini in their imagination. Some do this on purpose others are less compulsive. It is an obvious fact that Woman has Kundalini. It is also an obvious fact the Man has Kundalini. We are both genders at the same time merely expressing one way or another. What a woman has so does a man and vice versa. Kundalini for woman is slightly different than Kundalini for man. Man will not have Org*sms the same way and with the same velocity as the woman. His desire will be expressive to be sure but the seed will not emit every sixth step!- lol. But as we are both genders at the same time, both genders will have the availability of Kundalini to express, albeit in ways that are appropriate for that gender. Patriarchy is only healthy when the matriarchy is happy with it. - my take and experience - chrism , Venugopal AK <akvenugopal wrote: it is not for women at all. Guest guest
As a student and teacher of kundalini yoga, i have found through the practice of kundalini yoga women find their identities strengthened and then begin recognizing their ability to create change in the world. It connects women to the decisions they make. Therefore, they make better decisions,” and recognize harmful patterns and have the ability to change them. A woman is referred to as a " Shakti " which means Primal Creative Power. As women, we are fundamentally equipped with this creative principle of the Universe. When you relate to your true self ,then you tap into this well of unlimited resources. You experience your power; you begin to realize the depth of your own strength and wisdom; you witness the power of your prayer to manifest. You are self-cleansing, self-regenerating, self-illuminating, self-rejuvenating. And that works for me....................... Guest guest
Hmmm, I don't think that the shape of our genitals is the key to our spiritual progress. Nobody is superior, nobody is inferior, and nobody is " so different " as to lack the potential for spiritual evolution. It seems to me that what makes it or breaks it is the purity of our intention and the focus on our practice. Guest guest
Well if this is all my imagination, than I love my imagination! When my kundalini rises it is utter bliss, and I don't think you can imagine bliss. I see quotes like this and just dismiss them. I take in what feels right for me, and I dismiss what does not. And then I never give it a second thought. That is just me. I am in the middle of a divorce, and my buttons were pushed for so many years, to get a reaction from me, that I have learned through conditioning to not react when someone tries to push them. Except with my mother, I still react.... I have yet to be in any such class where there were more than 2 men to every 9 or 10 women. Just goes to show raising Kundalini doesn't spiritually perfect anyone. Gurus have their " blind spots " too. Brandi

I did a search and read more into this. Apparently, Osho says, ><http://www.otantra.net/oTantra/VBTv2/chapter28.html>http://www.otantra.net/oTa\ ntra/VBTv2/chapter28.html I can accept the idea that the energy may take a different route in men than in women. I can also see it's possible he's right about the different pathway for women. My upper charkras have always seemed more open and balanced than the lower, and I've always found that odd. I have to say I find his comments about homosexuality offensive. I know highly enlightened, very spiritual, loving balanced gay men. I would go so far as to say that gay men in my experience tend to be more spiritually balanced than most straight men. It's not just the male-female relationship that suffers from " so much puritanical, moralistic nonsense " . Brandi
