A Glance

Hello Beloveds,

 

I just wanted to share the newest developing that I'm becoming aware

of. Its such a simple thing, yet so freeing!

 

I've been one to jump right in when I would see a need, or something

that could use a little direction, or advice, or help. You get the

picture! lol! Its been a way of serving. Lately I've been feeling a

check on so much (a check is an inner reining in to not move forward

on an impulse). I would usually feel this for things I shouldn't do,

but now I'm also feeling it for things that normally I would do. (a

lot of words for such a simple thing...sigh)

 

It was a little surprising at first, and uncomfortable because it felt

like I was neglecting what was set before me. Then I began to see that

things can go on without me, lol! I'm not reined in on everything, but

much of what I was doing didn't have to be done, so a great deal of

freedom is coming into play, and I'm letting go in a newer way now.

 

It reminds me of an Old Testament scripture where God tells us not to

be like the mule or horse that needs a bit in their mouths to steer

them. He said He would steer us with His Eye.

 

This is what I'm feeling. The glance, and then I know what to move

into or away from no matter what the little i may be thinking.
