Guest guest
Dear chrism, Pranams. And thanks. I liked all of those paintings. Late Raja Ravi Varma was the painter who started painting the Hindu deities. His paintings are excellent and also the prints are available at a very affordable price. 10 prints at A4 size can be bought for one dollar. Many of his paintings are available here : http://www.cyberkerala.com/rajaravivarma/ http://www.kamat.com/kalranga/art/raviverma/ Kid Krishna, Bala Krishna is adored throughout India. There are many festivals to celebrate him.http://www.ramarajesh.com/galy1.htmRegardsVenugopal--- On Mon, 21/7/08, chrism <> wrote: <> Venugopal AK Date: Monday, 21 July, 2008, 8:06 AM How do you feel about these depictions? http://mandalas. com/HinduGallery /krishna. php http://mandalas. com/HinduGallery /NewShaktiShiva. php http://mandalas. com/HinduGallery /lakshmiinredpop pies.php http://mandalas. com/HinduGallery /shiva.php http://mandalas. com/HinduGallery /ganesh.php - blessings to you in India. - chrism Unlimited freedom, unlimited storage. Guest guest
> http://mandalas.com/HinduGallery/lakshmiinredpoppies.php it is about the west and how through addiction to materialism we are in a hypnotic sleep...the scarlet of the poppies signify we need to go through death of materialism to be resurrected to spirit.. can also split take a story my grandfather told me about the angel of mons appearing to the ww1 soldiers, and the poppy fields at flanders , in the uk we wear the poppy on rememberance day , to honour the dead... In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved, and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. — John McCrae
