Guest guest
the kurds love her she is called the melik tauoos , the peacock angel.. they pray when they see peacock feathers and carry them for luck and warding off the evil eye, they also carry blue stones to honour her.. the kurds believe they are not from eve but from adam only... the kurds are the living decendants of this knowlege in that area i feel as they were forced to become muslims, instead they just merged symbols and carried on their old practices as before paula
Guest guest
I like reading about the different goddesses and mythical types. From this website she did appear to me to be another version of Shakti. http://www.goddessgift.com/goddess-myths/greek_goddess_hera.htm I like this last paragragh. @@ More than any of the other Greek goddesses, the goddess Hera reminds us that there is both light and dark within each of us and that joy and pain are inextricably linked in life. The Greek goddess Hera represents the fullness of life and affirms that we can use our own wisdom in the pursuit of any goal we choose. @@ Linda , " selena255 " <selena wrote: > > I had a vision of a goddess yesterday during an astral journey. Guest guest
Hi Linda, I remember reading about Inanna in a Whitley Streiber book as part of a vision he had. He equated her also to Isis. As you say they are all aspects of the divine feminine. I seem to be catching symbolic glimpses of Lakshimi this year. I had never heard of her when it started. What a blessing for you. Guest guest
Hi Ana, That was Selena who had the vision of Inanna. For the last year or so I have been interested in reading about the mythical character and what they mean. I paid a $100 for a book a couple of years ago and it it tells about all the origins and meanings. It doesn't have anything about Inanna in it but it does Isis. Isis was the first virgin to give birth, and it was she who was the first savior. Then Horus, her blood child became a savior through suffering. There was more, but too much to write here. Really interesting! The book is " The Secret Teachings-Unveiling the Luminous Sun within " by Gene Keiffer I need to finish reading it. Guest guest
Hi Linda, Woops I realised after I wrote that post that I sent it to the wrong person...(speed reading the daily digest) Sounds like a nice book you have. Selena, nice vision, I remember in Whitley Streibers' vision he remarked about her eyes. I think another symbol for her was the owl. Interestingly enough it was an owl I saw in a flash vision as a symbol for Lakshimi. Sometime down the track you will probably stumble upon an interpretation or a symbol that will resonate strongly with you. I must admit I often look up the meaning of symbols on the internet. I find one that resonates strongly or that I like- lol. Love Ana > Hi Ana, > That was Selena who had the vision of Inanna.
