the other night i was having a hard time sleeping - so it was

suggested that i recite the Shakti prayer 100 times - oh my -

figuring that i would fall asleep before finishing - well i did not

fall asleep - but as i recited the prayer i was haivng what i call

pre-kriyas in my left leg - it was as if there was some energy in the

leg and my body wanted to expel it but instead it imploded inside my

leg - it was a pleasant feeling although strange - have had this

before in minor form but this was different - the more i recited the

more the pre kriyas-

it took a long time to get to sleep after this yet as i lay there i

enjoyed the encouter with k -

this brings up a ? i have for those who are into dreams and OBE's - i

have been having many dreams long hard intense dreams that i am not

able to remember only brief seconds- this morning i jerked awake with

one of these intense dreams in my head - i have been asking myself

when i awake " now where was i? " for i understand that we all leave

the body in sleep - the ? is : are the two related? are we living

the dream in the astral? are these two separate events that meld

together as we awake?

and if teachings occur in dreams and we can not remember them - what

is the point? sleep is becoming an illusion of late - there is just

too much going on for any good restful sleep- i miss the all night

sleep thru - will this ever occur again?

I have the book by Robert Monroe on reserve- the first one then I

will attempt to find the lastest one - maybe these will help???

any thoughts appreciated...

Hi , In answer to your question, I think the ideal is to learn

to be as conscious as possible while you are asleep as you do while

your are awake. Also, the more you practice being in the now while

awake, the more it will happen for you while you are asleep. When you

become conscious in a dream and know that you are dreaming,(that is a

lucid dream) you can stop the dream and experience the " now " of the

astral.
