Guest guest
Thank you, Brandi, good ideas. As for censoring, though, I see it as encouraging kindness and respect, not censoring. Not deleting the threads, just the post that attacks. The poster can be encouraged to reposted in a different manner than being slanderous or abusive. I don't see tolerating abuse as a good thing. The energy from it is disgusting. Accepting and answering critism is one thing, allowing slander and abuse is another. But that's just my opinion. We need to continue to show by reasonable, respectful but firm argument what spiritual maturity is really all about. Part of that includes accepting criticism, even when the arguments are not compelling. It's been said, let it stand. There may come a time when the moderators may have to delete a thread or ban members, but I prefer to let them decide when that time has come. > > Brandi >
Guest guest
I saw the post as slander and abuse, too. It wasn't just critism. It was insulting to all of us. Well, it did serve a purpose for me for it brought up some personal stuff that I needed to do some more forgiveness work on. Guest guest
Also, its not a one sided deal. The poster can be open to receiving criticism, too, and we may be helping them to grow up some by setting healthy boundaries. Being accountable for what we post, to me, is an important part of the freedom we have here. Love, rebellious dhyana xxx , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > I saw the post as slander and abuse, too.
