I'm actually replying to a combo of two posts in same topic .... no,

moonflowers aren't morning glories tho they grow very much like them.

They're part of night shade family much like tomatoes are which is why

tomatoes can be so deadly toxic to some people. Whatever you do,

pleeeeeeeease do not feed someone anything with tomato product in it if

they're allergic to tomatoes.

Depends how you look at it.........if you really defy the Divine

Mother/Shakti

it can get very troublesome indeed.

I looked farther and the moonflower is in the same nightshade family,

but is smaller and has a purple throat. I don't remember mine having

any purple one them, so I don't know. Moonflower are not morning

glories, but there is a version of morning glory that is called

moonflower, but it grows as a vine like the other morning glories, but

the flower is a little larger. I have grown those as well.
