could we use perfumes to unlock the subconscious...?

as much as we develop a keen aesthetic appriciation for gourmet

foods and fine wines, can we aquire a deeper knowledge of the role

of our olfactory sense?

it is a cross cultural phenomenon, that we give little attention to

in our busy society...you only have to think of the word

essence..and you put together the soul and fragrance!

modern research in neuro-anatomy shows that fragances provide access

to the brain emotions and visual imaging... think of christmas and

the scents carry you there ..

i wonder if we could use fragrance once we have accessed a certain

relm, to fix it in our holistic memory ??

so that we can re-visit there at will time and time again?...

i associate/ experience scents as colours..i think you could also

think of music as colours too.....

i wonder if there are scents that open certain chakras?? or as

markers on the tree of life??

or to charm the kundalini up the spine???

smell impulses take the fastest most direct route to the brain, even

faster than visual or auditory input,

and connects to the limbic system that governs emotion, so i think

we could use it as a tool

to pre-programme ourselves to acess emotional states , like an

anchor , access code or psychic telephone :)

leaving you with my favourite whiff of sweetpeas growing up the

garden fence..
