Guest guest
To be still is to be involved with everything around you. All at the same time. Solitude is where much phenomena and activity begin to express. It is when we are alone and unable to lean on another for verification or on society for expectation that many of the phenomena of the Kundalini will present. Solitude is also something that we are not all comfortable with. But it must be explored. It is very flexible as you can come and go from it. You can be there and then leave. It is a natural component of " who and how we are " Everybody dies alone. Everyone feels the activation of Kundalini alone first. We are essentially alone behind our eyes with regard to our thoughts, feelings, and interactions with other corporeal beings. Solitude is a known commodity and we can explore it more frequently than we do. This is where we can work on our fears. This is where we can do our practice. This is where we can express without anyone interrupting us. We cry and laugh and sing and sigh in the company of ourselves alone. This is healthy and is worth trying if you haven't done much of this. It is easy to be surrounded by people day in and day out and night in and night out if a person wishes. I suggest the opposite. Learn to be alone with yourself and enjoy it. Learn to be alone and to work on yourself with no one there to hold your hand or shoulder your burden. Be at " one " with who you are - alone. This is where the action is - blessings all - chrism

Guest guest
--- Recently I bought a couple of serpentine stones to keep with me or to hold during sleep as some of the recent posts made me wonder if I was up to experiencing any more than I have w/regard to K manifestation. Obviously the stones don't come with written instructions so I held them both in my hand as I went to bed and listened to Sade's CD..Lovers Rock. As I listened intently (imagining that the words are from my lover shiva/shakti) my hand turned as if to drop the stones. So I did. I love her music and continued listening and this time I felt a light caress in the space between my ear and shoulder. It was the place where the stones were resting on my bed. I'm more relaxed at bedtime and during that quiet time in solitude I review the safeties and try again to have a practice of prayer. I don't experience visions but so often I hear sounds right after a thought as if the sound is punctuating the thought that just went through my mind. When I wasn't with the group and in the deep fear for my life the same type of sounds had over the span of 6 yrs or so made me react with chagrin at first but then eventually terrified me.
