Guest guest
I have to add something to this.I never really felt like i had to get revenge myself ever but other people close to me do.I can't tell you how many times my eyes have glazed over and my stomach turned when i had to hear when someone boasted about getting revenge on somebody else and what they were going to do.When you have to listen to someone close to you saying that, it's the worst. That's why i avoid negative people like the plague. love, nicole , " chrism " <> wrote: > > " Ahhhh! Guest guest
Revenge or reveling in someone else's misfortune can only harm us. It brings out the ugliest shadow aspect of ourselves. I can't say that I was never in my life happy to see someone get their "just deserts" but not any more, not in many years! I feel sick now when I hear someone talking or acting that way. It's almost as though to be near someone having those feelings affects me physically. Sarita , "chrism" <> wrote:>> "Ahhhh! The sweet feeling of revenge that is soooo deserved yes? Guest guest
This morning at work we had a conference, and the person talking said that whenever we experience rage or anger, something in our mouth that is the first line of defense (immune system) go down for 5 hours. It means that we are defenseless for 5 hours for a feeling of rage. She added that feeling gratitude can boost the production of that same stuff by 37%. I'm sorry i forgot the name of that stuff, but found it interesting and relating with the safeties. Danny , " chrism " <> wrote: > > " Ahhhh! The sweet feeling of revenge that is soooo deserved yes? Guest guest
Thanks for sharing this Danny. I know this to be true. When I have gone through times of turmoil and great upset or anger, I often find within a day or so that I have a low grade fever, aches and pains. Since my K started to awaken I have not been sick at all. The only time I have felt vaguely sick is when I am dealing with negative issues. Guest guest
I have noticed that as well, anything I get upset over something, I feels sickly for awhile, until I get back on track or in the right mind. It seems to affect me more quickly now than in the past. Linda , " Sarita " <sarita1969 wrote: > > > Thanks for sharing this Danny. I know this to be true. Guest guest
Kind of sort of! Now I just bless the person, ask God to forgive that person as I will forgive that person as well and keep moving forward!! Revenge is bitter sweet anyhow!! What you wish on others, can and most likely will come back on you ten-fold!!! Some things are hard to forgive at first, but after time and if you really work hard, it is doable!!! If we can be forgiven by God, then we can forgive others. Just my humble opinion!! Thanks for the food for thought Chrism!!! Love, Katherine , " chrism " <> wrote: > > " Ahhhh!
