Guest guest
Like Katerine I too experienced Tropical Storm Fay - only not the intensity- and when i went outside last night i saw a new and interesting display of light from the sun setting - there were spokes of light reflectiing from the sun in wide arcs - at first there were two large ones with small ones in between each spoke was a different color - shades of pink/blue/grey the light was very intense and glimmering - in areas of the paths were clusters of color that looked like what one sees on quartz - the pink was incredibly bright/shimmering - the spokes changed shape and size as i watched - i felt very happy and grateful to be experiencing this and tried to imprint the show on my mind so i could share it with all of you i have never ever seen anything like this - there are some incredible sunsets in Florida but this was a very different show - i wandered as i watched if anyone else was seeing this unusual display or if i was the only one privy to this gift of color- Yes Katherine - god's power is seen in the storms he sends and in my case many hues of color -
Guest guest
Phenomenal isn't it! What a beautiful experience you have had! Hopefully when the rain and winds are all said and done I can have the same experiences when the sun returns! My boys and I just returned and it is amazing and incredible, the sights, the flooding, etc. We live near the river and I just recently found out the river breached their shores and has flooded a large part of Patrick Air Force Base. I continue to smile and give wonderful thanks to God! Before, I believe I would have complained, but no more do I complain about the gifts of God! The cleansing he is giving his earth! In some cases sand is being put back on the shore lines by the ocean and what an amazing gift that is! It is renewing itself! WOW!!! I just can't describe the feelings I am experiencing!!! Life is what you make of it, so if I don't see God in everything, I make a point to make myself see it!! Satellite Beach has received about 10 inches of rain and a total of 30 inches throughout Florida since the storm!! Giving gratitude for all of what we are being given is an amazing feeling!!! Let the sun shine through in the end!! My love for all creation and for the one who created it is phenomenal!!
