Guest guest
Just as an FYI. We have a batch of very large storms headed into the gulf of mexico. For right now and it's not looking good. While it's bad for the people there it can and possibly will impact you all. These storms are growing in the warm gulf waters. This is a major oil production, shipping and transport area. Left brained doomer that I am tracks this stuff. Most of the east coast was one day away from fuel shortages after Katrina. We just missed on that one. There are 2 major pipelines that feed fuel from the gulf to new england. There is actually trucking from there that feeds the west coast it's fuel. Loss of power and flooding shut them down. The Bush admin diverted power to the oil companies rather than the people to avoid a major failure. Some day I'd like to stand with my pipe wrench in a room with Cheney. Grin. I think K allows for justice. Advice, fill your gas tank before Mon. Store extra fuel if you can. Figure on at least 2 weeks of food. We have moved into what is called a " just in time " delivery system, most of the stores around you have maybe 2 days of goods. If the trucks don't roll, there is no food. Keep an eye on it, you know your own situation better than anyone. This bares watching. There are tipping points, when the balance shifts, I'm not saying this is one but it needs to be watched. It could be. The ripples move out and touches each and everyone of us. If you prep and nothing happens no big deal, if you prep and something happens the K will guide you to help others. If you are waiting for the boat to arrive to save you, how can you be in service and helping those in need? Even the minor fact that you took care of yourself, leaves more aid free for those who need it. You all mean so much to me, my new friends. I think David's, dropping into a defensive position is just spot on. Elektra, just hugs and yes all men are pigs, I know I'm one of them. Or at least until you get old, then you can't do anything and you get to be a dirty old man. Your circle of protection, is so obvious and so sublime. I share this because I worry about you all. Paula and Skydancer do the same. You get gasoline from the gulf even though you still export a trickle of oil your infrastructure doesn't meet the need for fuel. Take this as a guy who has been a " Dad' for a long time, I know you are not all my children. But I feel very protective. It's with love for you all. Peace Don
Guest guest
Thanks dirty old man GRIN* Thanks for the heads up, nice of you to be looking out for everyone. I say a prayer and ask we all send our intentions to smooth the ride for everyone, I believe in joint intentions power, in fact, its been proven time and time again. Lots of love and a ((((((massive HUG)))))) elektra x x x oink oink
Guest guest
Thank you Don, We are lucky to be surrounded by good friends and neighbours as well as extended family, so hopefully we will look after each other. I have family and friends in Jamaica and the hurricane has just swept through there. We cannot physically do anything from the UK but we always send large boxes of clothes and staple dried food such as rice, and money of course. Its a sad truth but money always 'talks' in these situations. I am thinking of you and I hope the worst of it passes you by. Skydancer x , merlin wrote: > > Just as an FYI.
