Guest guest
Hi gang, Facing my shadow self has taught me about balance and duality. Light and shadow co-exist naturally in the 3rd dimension, where ever you have light and matter you have shadow. Ying and Yang are inseperable and totally natural, you cannot have one side without the other. Within our reality we see an underlying theme to many stories, movies, drama's, games, and life in general; Good VERSUS Evil. One must destroy the other. Dark V Light, This religion V That religion, This political party V That political party, Man V Woman.....Bad V Good This is why war exists in the outer world, the ying wants to conquer the yang and the yang wants to conquer the ying. We all cheer when the BAD guy gets it in the end, pow pow, he's dead, yeahhhhh Good triumphs over evil, but Good creates the war just as much as Bad as Good wants a world with no Bad and Bad wants a world with no Good. Our higher self (at times) wants to deny our shadow side exists and ignore it and so creates an inbalance within us, a war. We repress it , ignore it, pretend its not there, when really we should love it and unify with it. Non judgement, total acceptance, love of both the ying and the yang, light and shadow.... this leads to ultimate peace just as the yingyang symbol depicts. When we embrace the shadow side of the world and ourself, and love it , and stop the internal/external struggle we actually help to end the war, because the war is symbolic. Light versus Shadow becomes light loving shadow, Shadow loving Light, Unity. This is my shadow teaching, wanted to share it with you all...... love ya all elektra x x x
Guest guest
Nicely done Elektra. One of my Rumi favorites. " Out beyond ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing there is a field. I'll meet you there. " Not a surprise why I live in the woods. Peace Don > Hi gang, > > Facing my shadow self has taught me about balance and duality.
