Guest guest
I hate to give an opinion after the compelling post from George, but since you asked, dear Paula, I believe that in Jesus' time, women had no authority in the church, and were not allowed to preach, teach, or be deacons. Men (husbands) were to be the spiritual leader in the household. Maybe He wanted us to assume more of a role in those capacities. a thought......................... Guest guest
This is a few angles that came to mind. I have the Leonardo , Mona Lisa , alchemy of the soul ,sol anima..Joining the sun and moon , in reverse thought.(In a previous post) In the Course of Miracles the text refers to all both male and females as being the One Son of God. Then also thought I would share Mata Amriteswaryai's quote. " YOUNG MAN's Question: What form can be attributed to God, male or female? AMMA: Son , God is neither a man nor a woman. He is beyond both. Male and female are within us. Someone or other said, " This is man " and " This is woman " . Isn't it after birth that we can make the distinction? What was before that? Mother would say that all are women except the knowers of the Self. There are women among men and men among women. Almost all human beings are women by nature. One who has no control at all over the sense organs is a woman. One who has controlled the senses and mind is a real man. In that sense, how many men are there in the world? " When i have read this quote in Thomas, have thought it to do with receptivity of the feminine principle that drawls the masculine to her by way of the lower chakras for the fire of kundalini to bring forth the fuel for transformation, and with that fire the energy is raised upward to the discipline of the mind which is often thought of as masculine principle. Also from a biological point the genetic male is XY, and the female is XX, so i wonder if at even a genetic level thaere is a hint about both the Ida and the Pingala which winds together and rises for awakening in the Kundalini process. I have often thought Kundalini and the DNA molecule has much in common? Paula...

Guest guest
*** it's not esoteric per se, but woman's development of the mind, > opportunities for creative expression, and an independent life not > subject to the control or proprietorship of another seems to be pretty much fundamental to any hope of a kingdom of heaven or even a > sustainable kingdom on earth.***brian @@@Yes, I have found great freedom from being sucessful in my own right, I come from a long line of independant in control women. Had this instilled in the blood.@@@ paula BUT, I greatly respect my husband too as he has embraced his feminine side full force..He has even learned the ability to multi task like a woman! He rescues other womens children from harm when they fall.. Goes to birthday parties, cooks for us , My wife is great ***perversely, though, our society teaches > us that women can gain control and independence by encouraging and > pursuing their own commodification as objects of desire, then > competing with each other for market share.***brian @@@Yes , this is regrettable but I see lots of changes, I became independant through commerce , and I have quite a few friends that are lawyers etc. Britain Is a maitrichy ,so maybe were used to bossy women here?@@@paula > > ***on a bit more esoteric bent, integration of the animus archetype also > fits here. withdrawal of the psychological projection of completeness > from an external object necessary to its fulfillment, or at least > breaking the illusions' attachment to a person.***brian @@@I think that is the secret of it all ,agree with you, for the woman to complete her own animus , and the male his anima, to look at what you are projecting onto your partner and try to find it in yourself..@@@paula Thanks brian that was interesting... paula.. Guest guest
I would not say that Paula It is intersting that you have read a course in miracles Mary-Elizabeth: Croft also done that course, look what she wrote since then, i beleave with out woman nothing would be done. I love the feminine side within me even if I seem do do silly things at times. Mary surely seeks freedom not just for herself but for all. There are many women doing this in this way but there are many women doing it in other ways. one of my close friends teaches Reiki in all styles and formates thus introduces people to a spiritual aspect that that would not other wise know. Here is where you will find Marys book http://www.freedomfiles.org/mary-book.pdf Show this to your lover-ly husband and say brutish brainwashed man. :-) Wishing you the best with it John PS he he , " alayafire " <ari.reza wrote: > > > John ... > As my lovely husband would say , *stupid woman , you asked for it!* > > love paula... >
