(thank you, Don, for your post a month or so back recommending to Google "reduced caloric intake" which led me to the "Eat to Live" book by Dr Fuhrman) Wow! I had been feeling for that I was being guided in this direction but I was resisting because it is hard to let go of food! I kept having dreams where I was naked and thin out in public - and completely unashamed - which seemed to indicate that I need to be thinner to move forward. Anyway, I am feeling great now, have lost a good 10 lbs, emotions are more stable and energy levels are up. Cravings to "just eat" are practically gone!I took a nap yesterday and was suddenly awakening by the strangest sensation flowing through my tongue and up into my head. I naturally have a "tongue thrust" so my tongue is always on the roof of my mouth, even while sleeping. But I have never felt anything moving before. It felt like humming/vibrating/tingling and seemed to be moving upward, although I could be wrong about that since I was in a very relaxed state. It surprised me in its intensity and sort of frightened me. I have had vibrations on and off in various locations but this almost seemed to actually rock my head. It disappeared as soon as I got up. But I just want to confirm that this is what everyone is experiencing as far as energy flows in the body?And here is an interesting dream I had last night:I own several beehives that are located in a separate screened-in rooms. I go into the room, shake the hive and then run out before the bees can get me. The bees come out of the hive in HUGE swarms. At one point, I do not make it out of the room and the bees overtake me. They completely cover me and begin stinging me repeatedly. I am calling to my mother for help but she cannot hear me. I keep repeating, very faintly but as loud as I can, "Mom! Mom! Mom!". I feel myself beginning to faint away. I think, "I am going to die" but I am not afraid. Suddenly, someone rushes in and gets me out of there and I wake up.And a dream from a few weeks ago:I am in a class. The teacher is a big man with a barrel-chest and a graying beard. He is teaching us to drive little kiddie-type cars but the cars do not have any steering wheels and everyone keeps crashing. I ask, "when are we going to get steering wheels?" He says, rather gruffly, "You'll get steering wheels when you don't need steering wheels anymore!" I am trying to figure out what the heck that is suppose to mean when it hits me that we don't actually need the steering wheel to steer the car, we can use the force of our will to direct the cars. I get in my car and just before it is going to crash, I push out my energy in a hateful/negative way against the object I am heading for and the car veers away. The teacher says, "Yes, that is good, but Love is more powerful." I get out of the car and approach an object and direct Love at it. Time slows down. My focus changes and everything seems to be white or glowing, especially the object I am focused on. The Love is moving out of my chest to the object and the object begins to rise and move toward me, as if attracted by the Love. I turn toward a faucet that is running and aim the Love at the water. The water stops flowing down the sink, and begins to float in the air toward me. Again my perception is changed. It is so beautiful that I want to cry. I wake up and feel that my heart chakra is vibrating powerfully and I feel very loving toward everything.And one last one on entities:I am walking on a carpet and look down. There are little violent cloud-type beings in the carpet that are trying to attach to me. I do not want them on me. Venerable Thubten Chodron, comes along and somehow brushes them off for me. I ask her, "What are they? I have never seen them before." She says, "They are entities. They have always been there; you have just not been aware of them before." I ask her how I am suppose to keep them off of me when she is not around. She posititions me in kneeling position in front of her and places her hands on my head. I feel something wash over me and I am at peace. She says, "they will not bother you anymore."I guess that is a lot, but since I hardly ever post, I hope you all will forgive me this indulgence. If anyone has any insights or whatever, I would be glad to hear it! I really appreciate this forum and all the people who dedicate themselves to it. The driving dream... you make me jealous Sounds too fun! Talk about a powerful lesson about love. You sure found a wise guide/teacher. To me it seemed as if your bee dream was related to your entity dream. Perhaps your K work was stimulating entities that may have been around you, then later venerable Thubten Chodron showed you the energy which was beyond and " distasteful? " to these little critters. Perhaps this dream is suggesting that you surrender to the K rather than running from it. Another thought, I have heard that going to a mostly plant based diet can really increase your K flow. Perhaps this dream is letting you know that it may increase a great deal and you should be prepared for this. The second dream suggests that all we need to "control" our life direction is inside. We don't require outside help. However, the big lesson seems to be to approach everything you do with love which is pure and powerful and best of all doesn't load up on bad karma! The third might suggest that as you progress on your K path you might become aware of entities that have always been around. As we grow, we become aware of things that the average person is not. I have the power to walk among these things without them bothering me. Some really great dreams there Alice! The bee dream was actually the most recent dream of the three and so occurred when my diet was most radically changed. I think I am going to have to work on surrendering most of all. I wondered too, if the bees were similar to the dismemberment dreams I have heard warned about. I didn't actually feel pulled apart, but there definitely was this aspect of losing my body to the bees.
