Guest guest
From Chrism's blog Some Kundalini Responsibilities Yes this is a gift inside everyone. But it isn't so much a gift for personal ego use as it is a responsibility to allow the expression to flow and surrender to the responsible egoless intention of the flow. So surrender to the Kundalini and " conscious ego control " are two responsibilities. It isn't for self aggrandizement. Becoming a great and powerful person or healer or anything that the ego would want isn't what will be given and if the person allows ego issues to take control it can become a painful experience. Following the divine agenda of the Kundalini is another responsibility. Having Kundalini is for the continued development of the soul. An entire landscape and a complete reality await those who walk this path. Learning to speak the language of symbols and to honestly chart the inner spaces of the conscious body for blockage or impediment. One learns to surrender all of the material and physical attachments though the timing of that is an individual process. Surrendering attachments and learning to shift realities are other responsibilities. It is a blessed experience to be sure and it can raise one into complete exaltation and yet this is where one must be willing to look into the larger reality. Kundalini can make a person feel like a God. And therefore this is yet another test for the person to determine the amount of ego control that is being expressed. Recognition of divinity within is not a problem. Having it become a vehicle of separation from the individual or lording it over others or it being used as a form of competition, these can be the challenge for the unwary. More ego controls are required as we walk, talk and work in an ego dominated society. Think about this. " Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. " This is a good rule of note. Even though the Kundalini person has knowledge that they have not studied for and abilities that cannot be trained for, it does not mean that this rule is forsaken. It merely moves the application of this rule into another format. This rule can give grounding to the high flying Kundalini person and it is a helpful tool to remember in our interactions with others. Another responsibility is to not be " tempted " by the elevated skills and thrills that can come with an Awakening. These are just a few of the inherent responsibilities of an awakened person. Most of these will be communicated directly to the person from the Kundalini itself as very strong impulses and internal directives. These are in addition to the common responsibilities of not cheating or stealing or hurting or killing or the speaking of untruths. These responsibilities become ingrained within the person and they are lines drawn by the Kundalini itself that the individual will not want to cross. This has been my experience. - blessings all - chrism © chrism 2008
