My emotions are high and my K is really active. I am excited and scared both. My second chakra is spinning very fast. Going to go get plenty of water and food we can eat without electricity. I will be here in touch until the electricity is shut off, but not much. I have to get everything prepare...a lot of work to do. Please say a prayer for our safety. Guest guest
Thanks Paula, I have been trying to do that all along, but it doesn't feel the same as with Gustav. No vision or anything. I sure hated all those poor people getting slammed so hard. It the poor people that get the worse of it, most of them don't even have insurance. We do still have insurance on the house, but not us. Hehe! Anyways, it's going to be quite an experience. Guest guest
Thanks Claudia, ai think the kids are going to be leaving. I hope they leave early enough that they done get stuck out in traffic. It was really horrible the last time, all those people trying to leave at once. Guest guest
Yes, Linda, my prayers are with you! It sounds like you know what to do to prepare. And I'm not surprised your K is very active. Something about storms does that. Hang tight, try to listen to Shakti, be the calm the best you can. I pray all you get is some rain. Blessings to both you and James and I'll be anxious to hear from you when this has passed. Love to you, Sister! Valarie

Guest guest
Hey girl; I have been thru many big ones - I have to agree with chrism - I love storms- preparation is the key- if you have a boat or raft that might be good- make sure everything is out from the yard - put everything inside or lock it down - the biggest damage is from things flying about and flooding. I hope you can stay up for this one - if it comes over head you may experience the " calm " the green color is unbelievable and well worth the stay - there is no sound during the calm only a gorgeous green sky - it lights up like lightning but is a scene you wil not forget- remember wherever you are you wil have a one of a kind show - a show put on by nature for you alone you and James - so get that inner joy ready and prepare your propery and I will pray you will have a good safe ride - I can hear your laughter - Love to both of you
Guest guest
Thanks for the advice, . It really sounds cool. James changed his mind after the kids called and talked to him. We have been invited to go stay in this rich person's private airplane hanger in Sequin, Texas. So I guess we will go with the kids there, it sounds like it will be fun, too. This is a relative of our son-in-law. They sound like really nice people. The weather people had predicted at first that it would probably be coming in at Port O'Conner which is only 30 miles from us. That was the scarey part, being so close. Now they are saying it will probably hit closer to Galveston, but are saying there will be tropical winds all the way to Dallas. This storm is 400 and something miles across, almost twice the distance of Katrina even. If it hits as a 4 it is really going to be bad for a lot of people. They said almost 6 million people will be evacuting, but I don't know where they are all going to. The storm is going to cover most of East Texas it looks like. People way south and west will probably be ok. The last time we had to go all the way to New Mexico to find a vacant motel room. Guest guest
Linda: Haven't checked in for a couple of weeks. How are you and James making out? I've lived through a few hurricanes. No big deal if you're preparred. The wind speeds on this one aren't going to produce projectiles or anythng like that. It gets loud and windy and the rain is hard but be strong mentally and don't let the experience freak you out. I personally watch in awe at the power of mother nature. You guys will be fine. You are in our prayers. Randy , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > It looks like Ike is coming my way. I've never been in that big of a > storm before. We have decide to stay home and stick it out.
