Guest guest
I am often asked: " Will I be able to function after the Shaktipat? " " Will I be able to hold a job and dress and feed the kids? Or will I be inside of a zombie land, bliss bunny experience and unable to do the normal things I do? " The reason I give quarterly Shaktipat at least one of them is that jumping into the Kundalini Awakening without a conditioned five body preparation can be very disorienting. This does occur for some people though not by my intent. It is is due to their particular dynamic regarding reception of the Kundalini as it is given. Sometimes it is the mere permission to even have and hold this divine gift that brings it into being. In other places and with other teachers they may be fine with giving people a full blast, full spread of Kundalini particulate enervation. I have found this to be inappropriate for the recipients of the Kundalini though me. Not everyone can handle or hold the same thing. Sometimes folks who are not prepared or in the five body conditioning position can receive raised welts along the spine or in other areas of the body. These people will also have exacerbated issues of the emotional and egoic bodies as well and once again I do not feel this is an appropriate application. So we do the safeties here. We follow the protocols. If a person wishes to experience the Kundalini then they will condition themselves to be able to safely receive and hold it. They will be able to dress and feed the kids and " drive " them to school. They will be able to work and hold a job. The dynamics of life will be different to be sure! Responses to life's experiences will change typically for the better. Understandings of life and love and even the idea of " The Divine Presence " will certainly change. One must be able to continue to work and live and survive amongst those in life they are bonded too and in the society that they are in. So if I can help it I will not Shaktipat a person into the zombie land. They may become Bliss Bunnies though! - lol. We go slowly and carefully into these areas. Not everyone is the same. We go carefully and if the individual wishes to move faster they can but within the parameters of the practice as opposed to the strength of the Shaktipat. Once again this is from myself as well as the Shakti and my Karma is also on the line. In this group there are many fresh and new to the Kundalini idea readers and experiencers so we go slow and are as thorough as we can be. It's not a race though I do understand that the compulsion and calling of the Kundalini can make one feel as if they MUST be there NOW! I remember that feeling. It was a large part of why I would pray and meditate five separate times during the daylight hours every day. I was driven, and some of you may feel the same way. So I do understand. Because of the mixed experiential dynamic here in the group we go slowly and allow people to gradually insert themselves into the process. The Shaktipat is literally tied into the practice of the safeties. If they are not practicing nothing will come or at least very little. This is for everyone's safety inside of this really very strong and breathtaking event that will never go away. Capiche? We move gently into the areas of Kundalini expression. If we move to fast we can experience headaches and other severe pain. Or Kriyas that can force themselves into the daily activities. Basically short circuiting the safety process. Among many other issues, emotional meltdowns, mental disturbance etc. So I encourage people to take it gently and slow. Be honest with yourself and see how far you have come in the way of moving through your fears or your revenge issues or your power issues or your issues of tolerance and respect for others. Look into your willingness to give service to others and your abilities to trust a process that doesn't conform to your belief system or your expectations. Look into these areas and gauge your progress. Come into the Shaktipat and follow the instructions and open yourself to the flow of an unknown divine gift that has always been there for you. Within you. Drink of this gift but take small sips. Then allow yourself to further adjust into the practice of the safeties and use it as a bridge into the Kundalini as the Kundalini becomes a bridge into the Physical Divine. Repeat the Shaktipat as you feel is appropriate. Be diligent in your practice and in the process of self correction. Embrace the idea of a change that will completely reorganize down to the very physical tissue of your body and the other expressive attributes of how you engage you're mental, psychologic and emotional and spiritual expressions. Repeat the Shaktipat as much as you wish. Work the processes in stages and be disciplined. I will make individual adjustments in each Shaktipat as I see they are indicated for. - blessings all - chrism
