Guest guest
I have been watching a TV show called "Heroes". It's about people with abilities that often mirror those of the Kundalini. I have noticed a shift towards these types of programs in line with the appearance of the New Age and New Thought systems of understanding in the last three decades. In these areas healing isn't solely in the hands of the medical industries. Spirit and OBE's are not so far out of reach. And now the populations are being given tangible television where these "powers" seem accessible to anyone who wishes to reach for them. And they will search high and low for these skills. This will lead some to the Kundalini. Kundalini does come with ascended or divine skills. Exalted skills. Yet they are not to be understood as a focus on this path. They are not a goal or a station to be striven for. These skills must come "with" the Kundalini and in that context is everything changed. As the Kundalini creates changes in the physical vessel of the body so will changes be given to the other aspects of the soul expression through incarnate flesh. Changes that cannot be resisted. Must not be resisted. One may wish to deny these changes wanting to keep the ego AND have the exalted skills at the same time. This can lead to severe challenges for an individual doing this. And yet they do. There are people on this list, in this group right now who are endeavoring to "have supernatural powers" as a way of measurement of Kundalini activity. Validation through phenomena. There are those that if they do not physically "feel" something than they leap to the conclusion that "it's not working". These are very mistaken ways of looking into the Kundalini. These are grievous mistakes being made at even striving towards and for the Kundalini with these ideas in mind. This is why it is so important to be in control of the ego. To surrender the ego so that it can also evolve. Each of you who are striving towards phenomena as a way of Kundalini determination or as a way of having a "power" over others for better or for ill are not in a clear understanding of what is really needed or what the real goals are. The goal is to be at one with God. This supersedes any power lust or phenomena greed. This doesn't sound very sexy I know but it is the journey that is being given with the Kundalini. Not flying, or healing, or telepathy or teleportation or time traveling or telekinesis, or shape shifting. These skills can only come to one who has altered their way of thinking and reacting in a way that allows the wisdom of the Kundalini to come forth and dominate the decisions about the choices that life offers. Seeking Kundalini for the Siddhis or these exalted gifts can bring much harm and pain to the individual. One can literally be driven insane as they open to the astral seeking power only to be consumed by what is in the void that responds to such base intentions and frequency. You may as well tie a dinner bell around your neck, coat yourself in B BQ sauce and skewer yourself with a stick! Do not come to the Kundalini with these intentions. To do so will inevitably cause you much regret and pain not only to you but to your family and friends. Come to the Kundalini with the love of God however God is to you. Do not be in a hurry and do not rush the process. Storming the gates of heaven literally keeps you from passing through them. One must come with the wisdom and love for that which is beyond mere wants and desires. Beyond the controls and mechanisms of life as society understands it. It is very sacred! Find your sacredness with in. Let that be your first goal. Ask yourself the question: "What is sacredness to me?" Let your answer guide you. So for those of you seeking "special skills" do not look to the Kundalini for them. The Kundalini in me will determine it and you will not reach that goal through what is given here. Kundalini is much smarter that any mere mortal and it will know. So instead of looking for phenomena realign your goals and seek oneness with that which created you. Look for your power through that oneness and when you find it you will no longer need to use power of demonstration or of influence over others to make your claim to the heavenly fields. - blessings all - chrism
Guest guest
Makes me think of Sylus in Heroes, and how he feels he is nothing special, his ego drives him to steal the gifts of others and he becomes insame with the power.A good display of what this kind of ego driven desire does to one. Thanks for a great reminder on the importance of enjoying each moment without judgement based on phenomena, which only leads to dissapointment. If you focus on such things you really will miss the joy of the journey, smell the flowers, look around, Praise God and the universe, marvel at K and the way it teaches. It surely is much smarter then any of us ... LOL I think that many are seeking spiritual fullfilment through extreme experience and don't realise that true peace and spiritual happiness is often found in the simple joy of life, celebrating each moment as a gift. And giving thanks.love elektra x x x
Guest guest
For those interested, the new season of Heros starts on 9-22-08! My husband and I really enjoy this show. This was a great post and that show is a great example. There are those who are real heros, doing service to others and then there is Sylus who is just trying to eat up everyone else's powers. He is greedy, wants it all for himself and doesn't care who he hurts or kills to get it. Not to far off from the truth unfortunately. There are those who seek out Kundalini for the right reasons and those who are doing it for personal gain. I'm pretty sure that those who are doing it for the thrill of power, will have to pay the price. When I was younger, I sought out "powers" and wanted nothing more. I am SO glad the K was not in my life back then because I would have had some really tough lessons to get through. Now that I have some of these skills, they are not meaningful to me. I make use of them when they come up, usually to help others, but I do not seek them out. I never use them for any greedy reason. I encourage everyone to really think about it before seeking for any other than the right reason.
