Dream surrender and shadow self

This was a 2 part dream:

I'm on a tropical island with two friends hiking through a beautiful forest, we

reach a part where we need to leap from boulder to boulder, its quite a leap and

I don't think I can make it, I jump but not quite far enough and I try flapping

my arms around as if to fly, suddenly I begin to fly, struggling and flapping

at first then I shoot up in to the air, so high above the forest I'm scared at

how I'll get down as I feel as if I have no control over whats happening.

I see the ground and realise that the only thing to do is surrender completely

to God, I will either fly or plummet to the ground,

I will either live or die, I can go struggling and afraid or I can go blissful

and relaxed I think to myself while up there.

I decide to relax and put myself in God's arm, I then feel total trust in God

and drift like a leaf safely to the ground. I surrendered.

 

I am now in a bar with a black man, young and good looking, next to him appears

a white skinned woman with black hair also beautiful.

The man looks happy and begins to sing to me, he stops as the woman begins to

sing another verse, both sound lovely, then they turn to each other and sing

together, wow, I am amazed at how the song is so much more beautiful when they

sing together, their voices seem to blend so perfectly together as if they were

made for each other, they have the look of love in their eyes and I can see they

are attracted to one another.

i wake up.

 

I think the second part of my dream shows how ebony and ivory go together in

perfect harmony, my shadowself and lightself have found love and balance and now

sing in harmony together. Its so beautiful, I feel so happy and invigorated.

Shadow training is the best thing ever, may have been hard at times but the

completion and joy I feel is just wonderful.

Wow, awesome dreams Elektra!! The first obviously a dream of surrender and you passed the test with *flying* colors! The second one may have multiple meanings. It certainly could be about your shadow side, your masculine/feminine and a general statement about how we can all make beautiful *music* if we all work together. Lovely dreams.
