K has brought many things to my life, from an early age. and always pushes you till you are just on the verge of the breaking point, if you are seeking not just to experience but also to understand the how and why. > Mon. I didn't work on it or touch it, just was there with it. > There was a different density of information we exchanged. LOL... it's sort of the same with me and computers, and even moreso with music synthesizers. something about that hardware, the mind-body-machine interface, and interacting with these 'autonomous' bits of hardware which speak in their own language. > I could sit at home and monitor it with my commodore 64. I have much love for the Commodore 64, and many fond memories, as it's the machine that first made me want to learn how to program (at 9-10 years old). prior to that I didn't like computers at all because you had to play games with them and I didn't like to lose. so I was never much for games except to study them. I just wanted to get inside the machine, learn it all. Even jumped straight to assembly language once I discovered that was where the real power was hidden. never named my computers but always wanted to get past the clunkiness of a hardware interface :-D > So yes, electronic media can enhance, but its all are part of the > larger field anyway. As you can tell I'm very interested so hiy > me off list if you'd like. yeah, I would definitely talk off-list on the subject. -brian
