Guest guest
Hello! Still just about asleep, I start receiving a lesson in the darkness of my bed, entitled " H+ Hearing " , loosely based on the format of Monroe Institute CDs. The voice is female. " There are three kinds of noise. " I hear a smooth, gentle static, then silence. The background whirring of the universe? I hear a noise I can only describe as a shape. It's shape is " |-|- | " , with all the bars at different heights. It's organic, flecked brown and black, flat and sticky, and the right hand side of it is scratchily painful to behold, and mentally debilitating - all I can do is wait for it to end. It reminds me of a city. It lasts about three seconds, and repeats roughly as many times. I make a guess that it's the M-band noise Robert Monroe talks about, unwitting telepathic pollution. I hear a longer, narrower sound, deep and electronic, more of a " -|--- ----|- " . Machines? Aliens? No, no idea. She begins a incanting wail. It almost could be Elisabeth Fraser of the Cocteau Twins, and to start with, I wonder if it is. It hangs above the bed in the blackness. As the voice unfolds, maybe it's not quite so human. Some unusual nasal intonations going on at the very least. Though it's beautiful, the awe that it carries predominates. Aaaaaaie ay ayiaaaah aa aaaa - aay aiaiiiaaaaaia...and so on. So evocative, a horizontal golden necklace of sound kinking and sliding just a foot above my sleeping self. An audio-visual funnel forms higher and to the left, more gold and shadow. Who knows what this will look like after font settings have mangled it... .....I ....DO ...NOT ...NEED ..FEARS AIIAAIAA Each articulated word precisely fits the growing triangle horizontally. I can't remember specific words, only their gist and complexity - unsuitable concepts to avoid or heal away from. The overall message isn't so far from one of Chrism's posts recently. ....AAIAIA ...IDOLATRY ...AAAAIIAIA ..PSYCHIATRIC DISSOCIATIVE.. A few of these triangles form and disappear, one after the other. Elaborate descriptive phrases slip into the words, at times inflected with displeasure and distaste, they're far from just lists. Suddenly, my wife comes in again and I'm convinced she'll sit on the mp3 player beside me and ruin everything! Hastily I try to grab it, but only non-physical hands move, and I dislodge from my body slightly. Of course none of what I'm hearing is actually coming through headphones at all, and as I realise this, my panic fades. I'm unconscious a while, and a more active OBE follows later on.
