Guest guest
ok heh. I really do love practicing yoga but for the past couple months its been really hard for me. I don't even know if yoga or any other practice similar to it is either more helpful or harmful. Since I've been getting off my medication, lithium, I've been getting so much action in my head. I've been getting what believes to be so many endorphins to the point where at times I do feel like I've been doped out for weeks. Yoga or any other breathing technique just inceases more of these endorhins and other things. I'd just practice for maybe 5 minutes and it increases the flow and is not very pleasant anymore. I've been trying to just avoid all practices because of this. I'm really stuck, I dont know what practices would be best for me. I've stopped all practices. Sex also increases this. Mulabandha or kegel related locks are a big NO. I've been losing my memory, my ability to talk, and my concentration over all of this... I dont feel like adding too much more to this, but it does get weirder. I'm just not so sure what practices to do without a guru standing beside me to be sure that my practice is correct, or without a guru reading my energy to know what specific unique prctices I should be doing. Sorry to say but a list of practices made for the public does not mean that those safeties will work for everyone because everyone is unique. Right now, it seems that breathing exercises, tibetans, or yoga just arent the safeties for me. I'm realyl failing myself in so many ways because I really dont knwo which way is up, I dont know what to practice, I cant tell whats harmful or helpful for me. Guest guest
Dear Drea, My humble prayers for your well being. I have more than fifty years of experience with Hatha yoga. I will suggest you practice "Shavasan" for ten minutes, twice a day. I assure you this will help you. Sitting in Vajrasan for ten minutes twice a day will improve your memory and concentration. You are welcome to write to me in private if you prefer. I hope to be able to provide you with information about Yoga. IMHO, Missing a meal, lunch or dinner, everyday, will also help you. Once again my humble prayers for your well being. With love and regardsVGBombay, India--- On Wed, 24/9/08, Drea <lvledusa wrote:Drea <lvledusa Can not do yoga or breathing exercises at all Date: Wednesday, 24 September, 2008, 5:31 AM ok heh. Guest guest
Hi Dream, I was also crown overactive..and for weeks and months at a time it would continue. I found the best thing was doing hard phsical excercise, like weights, or going for a long swims and hikes...stuff like that. When I would do weights, I would try and circulate the energy into the muscles being used, and then try and imagine it running down out my body down the legs into the ground. It took a long time as I had lots of grounding problems.... anyway..keep going Bruce

Guest guest
Drea Its sounds to me you are on nadi overload if it is so you really need to pull up and stop all yoga practices. We need to hold back on the k for a while and go back to base. water lots of it. keep a glass or bottle of it beside you bed try and keepit ubouve you head to allow your energies to magnatise and program the water inside the bottle. this wil be like a soma and act similarly as to homeopathic remedies and will go about rapairing and strengthening the nadi channels drink this water it is your medicine.karma yoga not to much for a start when doing so always be watchfull for negativity, When negativity comes whch it will just do a very gentle om to calm it away and continue working. If resting and you happen to be aware of your breath try just to watch it dont control it. let it find its own natural rythum though if you are hyper ventalating this is no good either so just relax yousself to be calm. also comming of prescibed drugs should be done gradually so that it give time for the body to implacate its own manafacturing process of these chemicals. love John. , " Drea " <lvledusa wrote: > > ok heh. > > I really do love practicing yoga but for the past couple months its > been really hard for me.
