I agree Anna, I cringe everytime I hear that, which the telly

evangelist have made so popular. There is much more to christianity

than giving a donation. I look at giving the gift of money to someone

who is spiritual guiding me as no different that paying for your

physical food from a resturant or store or paying your doctor or

anyone else who performs a service in your behalf. It is a natural

thing to want to give back to those who give/provide for you out of

love. The only difference is chruches don't charge a set fee, they

leave it up to you to give out of the goodness of your heart.

Learning to give gladly and be of service to others is a christian

teaching that actually benefits you as much as the receiver. None of

the churches I have ever attended taught giving a donation or even

your service given freely is what gets you to heaven. LOL!
