Guest guest
Dear Paula, What you wrote and what Dhayana wrote are correct. Dr. Kahlifeh was killed by an idiot, does not matter he thinks he is moslem or not. idiots are abound, moslem, christian, hindo, atheist,... We have to learn to REASON instead of violent actions, or attaching labels to those that we do not understand. It is OK he did his work and got out a bit sooner than his coupon --------------------------
Guest guest
Hi Paula, I am with both you and Shahin on this one. My take on this is that first reason has to emerge, to transcend the limitations of being lost and identified in impulses and emotions such as anger and rage and lust. Once reason has emerged with a stable sense of identity in the mind (ie a strong and well functioning ego), then that ego may to be transcended by awakening to Spirit, and so being able to observe the mind. However, being identified with ego and the discriminating mind (which is something we all unavoidably go through), the world gets chopped up into good and bad, right and wrong, and that creates suffering. I was there for a long time, and at times I was an excellent fundamentalist. I went travelling again a couple of years ago, with the simple intent of dropping my reliance on knowledge and learning to follow my heart and finding my own wisdom. K has helped tremendously in that process, or rather, I had no choice but to surrender the mind, and learn to see it just as a type of fantasy in awareness. love to all Bruce , " alayafire " <ari.reza wrote: > > Hi Shahin I see it opposite it was the egoic divide of reason that > caused the problem.
