Guest guest
Just as any other religion, there are those within the christian religion who are at different stages in spirituality and this doesn't go by age. They are not to be looked down on just because you are at a higher stage. Hmmmm... having a comedian to make fun of them may help them to awake more fully .....or not? I think love and commpassion would be the best way. It seems to me that christians are being attacked a lot here in the group lately...in subtle ways....or is it just me feeling this? I am beginning to feel uncomfortable and not wanted here. Guest guest
The trap of righteousness..is particular to humans, of all sorts. I know muslims that wash after a Yezidi person talks to them, calling them negis, unclean.Where in the Quran did it tell them to do that? If I tell them that, they say your not a muslim, these people are devils , you don't know.~ It goes across all cultures.. The point is that its a trap we all can fall into or be the victim of.It's a separation trick made by the ego.It stands in the way of love. All of the worlds religions contain truth , all have the veiled truth of the sacred feminine. To see it we must cross the divide and look at the all.The higher up the chakras we go there is only love. No barriers..we look into anothers eyes and the divine is reflected back. Namastie.. Guest guest
> I am beginning to feel uncomfortable and not wanted here. > > Linda > my dear friend- you are following your path and others will follow theirs - if there is a feeling of attack perhaps it is because there is a lesson for you and for those who are seemingly poking fun- i mentioned this before - a lesson from chrism : approach all things with : TOLERANCE - FORGIVENESS - GRATITUDE in this case - think of what is said and who is saying it : either in your head or to them personally say - i forgive you for what you say and i am grateful for your words /lesson i have just begun to use this and it amazes me that i then see the situation as laughable - does it really matter what others think? will it change my opinion/belief? can i see it as a lesson in tolerance? and remember christian/jews/moslems/hindis/etc. all have been persecuted - even k folk are not received well by many - comes with the territory /belief you are on strong lady - very firm in your beliefs - abit of uncomfortableness is like water on a duck - it will roll right off of you - i hear that giggle -- be the duck!!! quack quack!!! e
Guest guest
Hi Linda, I felt I must say my piece about your post. , " Linda " <crazycats711 wrote: > > Just as any other religion, there are those within the christian > religion who are at different stages in spirituality and this doesn't > go by age. I think love and > commpassion would be the best way. **I dont know if the comedian was a Christian or not, but I don't really feel we should worry about a few jokes about 'oversaved' Christians. When you find a faith that means something to you you cannot help but want to spread your new found happiness around to others. I know many 'oversaved' Buddhists, Pagans, Jehovah Witnesses etc. Once you can laugh about yourself, what others say means nothing** > > It seems to me that christians are being attacked a lot here in the > group lately...in subtle ways....or is it just me feeling this? > I am beginning to feel uncomfortable and not wanted here. ** I can understand why you think this, but please don't leave. You are wanted here, by me anyway. Although I'm not Christian a lot of what you say contains universal truths that can be found in all the 'books'. I love reading your posts and sometimes what you have to say gets me thinking deeply. Which is good. So Linda, for selfish reasons, don't leave and try to ignore others who cannot see the seeds of truth in what you convey to us all.** Blessings, Skydancer x >

Merely mentioning it seems to touch off hot buttons on both sides and I think some deeper introspection about that would profit us all tremendously.
