Guest guest
Hi The format that chrism uses or his shaktipat is one of the main reasons I like to participate in this group . extends his scatterfield and shaktipat in way that he extends a hand to help those who put the work in to help their self . You do not put the work in or coming from a selfish desire for powers and the person will recieve nothing from the shaktipat . Eleven years ago my kundalini spontaneous awakened within me and I was not mentally or physically ready for it . I went through nothing short of torture for ten nights , burning up from within as kundalini was continually working within . After that kundalini made very mild changes within for over seven years before it aroused again and the spinal sweeps started . During that seven years the mild changes made by the kundalini allowed me to physically and mentally hold kundalini and the guidance help me to find this site . So , I can see from a point that kundalini can be dangerous if the person is not ready and only looking for kundalini siddhis . I am speaking in general and in no way referring to you . I would not wish the pain I went through for that ten nights on anyone ever . For those who do somehow arouse the kundalini for selfish desires will have much to look forward to as the kundalni puts the ego in it's place . blessings

Have you read Lee Sanella's " The Kundalini Experience, Transcendence or Psychosis " ? ... the title kinda says it all, don't you think? ;-) .... my experience was something like yours. Ten nights? <g> ... 20+ years ago, there was no Internet, no group like this, and it took me 2 years of madness scrambling for answers before I even heard the word " Kundalini " . I am still recovering from that experience. What appeals to me here is the emphasis on the Safeties, that they talk about grounding, that regularly tells people to eat meat and stop " om-ing " when they are starting to burn out. It's a quirky group with a lot of different viewpoints and I think that's the best kind of atmosphere to learn the ropes, so to speak. Guest guest
I think that many people have come in to the kundalini without the purity and have experienced damage, but this is also a lesson needed in life or else it would not happen. Kundalini is such a strong force that it does have many dangers but also much to teach us. This is why teaches us the Safeties. If God has decided it is time for you to open then obviously it is right and so you should not be afraid. Unless your friend has active K how would he/she know about it? You can not really learn from a book the truth of an activation as each person is unique in their flowering. I have always liked the mantra: F E A R = False Evidence Appearing Real. Guest guest
Just because there is fear about something, doesn't mean there should be. A car can be dangerous if not used properly, but it can also get you where you need to go. It's really simplifying things but I look at the Kundalini much the same way. If you follow the rules, have the right intent, it can bring you far. The opposite effect can happen if it's power is abused. BTW, my name is pronounced Suh-ree-tuh, it rhymes with the name Rita. How is it pronounced in Hindi, do you know? Chris and I have been through this kundalini syndrome thing myself and for more than 10 days it took quiet some time for symptoms to dimnish though a few occur now and then but arent that bad though. Personally what helped me was devotional practices. Sarita- its pronounced as Sa (a as in the article 'a') -- ree - taa
