Guest guest
Excellent, ! Amazing to see K was stirring in you even then. I think that memory was just waiting to be acknowledged for what it was and it came up at this time becaue " it was it's time " ! You've given me something to work on, now! I've been thinking of writing my life story for my daughter to read someday, if she's interested. I think I've talked my hubby into doing the same. And besides what happened I will be reveiwing my life for moments of K flashes to see where it popped up in my earlier life as well. Fun! I look forward to trying this! Thank you, in part you were the inspiration. Happy memories and more songs to brighten you day! Love and blessings, Valarie Just for fun: The Rainbow Connection Why are there so many songs about rainbows And what's on the other side? Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, And rainbows have nothing to hide. So we've been told and some choose to believe it I know they're wrong, wait and see. Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection, The lovers, the dreamers and me. Who said that every wish would be heard and answered When wished on the morning star? Somebody thought of that, and someone believed it, And look what it's done so far. What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing And what do we think we might see? Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection, The lovers, the dreamers, and me. All of us under its spell, We know that it's probably magic... .... Have you been half asleep? And have you heard voices? I've heard them calling my name. .... Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors? The voice might be one and the same I've heard it too many times to ignore it It's something that I'm s'posed to be... Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection, The lovers, the dreamers, and me. Laa, da daa dee da daa daa, La laa la la laa dee daa doo... (sung by Kermit The Frog)
Guest guest
What a wonderful idea to give your daughter a book on you and your hubby's life- and to look to the K connections - nice theme I used to think of words and then find a song that used the word - rainbow Look to the Rainbow Lyrics- this one gives me a lift - i think of following K and its wonders On the day I was born, Said my father, said he. I've an an elegant legacy Waitin' for ye, 'Tis a rhyme for your lips And a song for your heart, To sing it whenever The world falls apart. Look, look Look to the rainbow. Follow it over the hill And the stream. Look, look Look to the rainbow. Follow the fellow Who follows a dream. Follow the fellow, Follow the fellow, Follow the fellow Who follows a dream. 'Twas a sumptuous To bequeath to a child. Oh the lure of that song Kept her feet funnin' wild. For you never grow old And you never stand still, With whippoorwills singin' Beyond the next hill. Look, look Look to the rainbow. Follow it over the hill And the stream. Look, look Look to the rainbow. Follow the fellow Who follows a dream. Follow the fellow, Follow the fellow, Follow the fellow Who follows a dream.
