Guest guest
I just want to chime in with my gratitude for the Shaktipat too, Chrism! This was my second one. This time I did experience the whole kidney and thirst thing - a first for me. By the 4th or 5th day, I had to back off on my practice because I was starting to get a little loopy in the head. I also experienced what seemed to be an almost violent re-setting of my monthly cycle. I share that just in case any other women out there experience this. It rather frightened me. reminded me privately that the K can amplify fears. I knew that on the intellectual level, but you know, when one is in the grip of fear, it feels so ..... legitimate! I didn't even pause to think that my fear about it might be amplified - I was taking my feeling VERY seriously. So that was a good lesson. I had the strangest dream on the 4th night that I just have to share. It is a little long but it just cracked me up! I am in this long line of people with my family around me. The line is moving very quickly and it is winding up all these strange stairways that remind me of Escher drawings. I have no idea where we are headed but everyone is happy. I reach the top and there is a dark, still pool. At the other side of the pool are two slides. Everyone is entering the pool and going down a slide. I began to wade into the water. Suddenly, I feel little hands all over me. I look down and there are these very small humanoid creatures grabbing me. They are dark with glowing green eyes. I freak out and immediately begin heading back the way I came to get out of the water. They grab me hard and haul me into the water. I am now floating on my back while they hang on to me. There seems to be some debate about which slide to send me down. I now realize that one slide leads to Heaven and the other, Hell. Meanwhile, my family goes on without me. A voice (God?) from over head says to the little creatures, "This one is on sale because she eats twice as much as she should." and this big billboard appears showing me on sale and eating too much. I say, "Hey! Wait just a minute! I have been correcting that." I am ignored as the humanoids and God discuss my fate. I decide to take matters into my own hands. I make a sudden break for it and dive down the slide that I saw my family head down and that I assume is Heaven. I travel a long ways and at one point I realize I have "passed through" and am now dead. I feel a little sad but then figure I just have to roll with it. I reach the bottom of the slide and have landed in what appears to be a Tim Burton type of haunted house. I realize too, that this is Hell, not Heaven. So my mad dash didn't work. My legs are sticking out straight as boards and I can't move them. They are sickly green and a little shrively looking. This garishly dressed woman lifts me out of the water and brings me to a little beauty salon. I say, "I can't move my legs." and she pats my arm and says, "That's the rigormortis, my dear. I am going to take care of that." Before I can say a word, she grabs a baseball bat and hits me right below my right knee just as hard as she can. I yell out 'WAIT!!!!! Just give me a minute to assimulate it all!!!!!" It didn't really hurt but it was shocking. After I catch my breath, I wave her on and she just beats the hell out of my legs. Strangely, they now feel better. She spins me around and we look at me in the mirror. I totally don't look like myself - I look like a man and I don't have any hair. She brushes paste all over the top of my head and then we stick tufts of brightly colored hair to my scalp. I am feeling really good and kind of silly now. I stand up, notice my right leg is bent backwards so I crack it against the wall till it is facing the right direction and I can walk. Then I begin to do the Cha-Cha with the beautician. It takes a little while to get working in unison. I ask her, "Am I leading or are you?" and she says, "I am leading, my dear." Weird! It makes me laugh even now, it was so strange. Anyway, thank you Chrism, for the Shaktipat and thanks to the rest of you for the community you provide. -Alice
Guest guest
That was a fun dream Alice, I had some strange ones too during Shaktipat week. I couldn't remember mind though. I have had an alien type dream some time ago of a lot of people in long lines, but instead of steps it was large tubes they were going through. The people where all tranced out except my grandson and I. I was trying to get his mom to come out of trance without the aliens noticing that we were not tranced out. We got caught and we made a run for it to escape, but woke up before I knew if we were able to escaped or not. Can hardly wait for Sarita's interp on that one. Guest guest
Linda, your dream sounds almost identical to mine! Except none of us were in the trance and I honestly didn't get the sense that any of it was "evil". I just got freaked out by those little humanoid creatures and I wasn't quite expecting death upon entering the slide. I am looking forward to Sarita's interpretation too!-aLinda <crazycats711 Sent: Wednesday, October 1, 2008 3:04:05 PM Re: Shaktipat - Thanks & Dream Sharing That was a fun dream Alice, I had some strange ones too during Shaktipat week. Guest guest
My dream dream didn't really seem evil either, I just didn't know what the alien where doing to everyone and tried to get away. LOL! I need to know what things things are about, not just go with the flow without knowing. I have had lots of alien dreams and with people being in trance and I'm not. I am pretty sure death in the dream means transformation or new beginnings. Linda , Alice Sackman <vista.records wrote: > > Linda, your dream sounds almost identical to mine! Guest guest
Well Linda, I would see that dream as being "awake" while many are still asleep, just going along because they don't know anything else and maybe they don't want to. I had a similar dream a few months before joining the K group. I called it "Groundhog Day" after the Bill Murray movie because the day kept starting over and over again, LOL. I was the only one in the dream that was awake and I needed the assistance of others in order to keep a tragedy from happening. No matter how fast I moved, or how hard I tried, I needed to work together with others to be successful. I was attempting to "wake" up those around me. I kept getting closer and closer to my goal, but never did reach it before the end of the dream. Guest guest
Hi Alice, this is a very interesting dream. I will make a few comments on it. I would take this as being programmed to follow the line wherever it's going. To follow family, friends, other people, sometimes without thought as to where one will end up. I think the little creatures were probably trying to help you, but sometimes we are frightened by the unfamiliar and would rather cling to what we know, even if we aren't sure where that is leading. Death is indeed about transformation as Linda mentioned. Perhaps this dream is suggesting that just because something seems like the right path, doesn't mean that it is. Things may seem very strange or unnatural at times, but that doesn't mean they are *wrong* or evil. Ultimately, you are headed for a *transformation*, it is up to you whether it is easy or difficult. Guest guest
Alice, that dream would make a fantastic little animation, I can see it in my minds eye and it made me giggle too, the end in particular , I love the cha cha .. Very symbolic of your journey with the kundalini, The water is very symbolic of the divine feminine/emotions/subconcious, the k can be fear filled (hell) or blissful (heaven), you didn't surrender to god's will but decided to take it into your own hands, this lead you down the slide to hell (non surrender can bring pain and fear). And yet, once you got there, you lightened up and let the dead female (shakti perhaps or a side of you?) get to work on the male looking you (ida and pingala perhaps? the two sides of yourself/god) and you ended up dancing and sticking bright coloured hair on your head (renewal). Very positive and descriptive love elektra x x x
