Guest guest
Hello, the name is Dave and I feel that this is the place for me. I am a very intelligent 17 year old high school senior who was introduced into buddhism about 6 months ago. After reading Tao Te Ching, I become very interested in all eastern religions and practices. My therapist who treats me for depression just happened to have been practicing Kundalini for about 15 years. He is going to " activate " me by touching me in between the eyes. What can I expect? Also, until this time, what can I do to start become more spiritual? Can anyone lead me to some books or what not? I am going to start meditating 40 minutes a day as I really never gained a steady habit of meditating.

Guest guest
Hey Dave, it's nice to meet another youngin :-D! My name's lock, and i'm 20, currently enrolled in college for audio engineering, and am honestly far to analytical to give any specific set of beliefs any more merit than any other set of beliefs, i guess that kind of makes me a discordian Hail Eris! (it's a church of discord thing). My personal experiance with Kundalini are probably not the kind of thing you'd want to hear about having just become interested in this stuff, but let me just say that i definitly agree full heartedly with Chrism, you need to do it carefully and as slowly as you need to. You don't want to risk it awakening too early or too fast or with too much force, it has the potential to suck a lot.But having said that it has the potential (as far as i've been able to tell at least) to be one of the most important and epic things you'll ever have the privalige of experiencing :-3! It's good times :-D hehe.regretably lacking in any better way of ending this email than this,lock--- On Wed, 10/8/08, illplusmatic <illplusmatic wrote:illplusmatic <illplusmatic New member introduction....Where do I start?
