Guest guest
Kriya is a Sanskrit word. It means: " Action, deed, effort " ) Often it is commonly associated with a practice within a yoga discipline. It also means: " The outward physical manifestations of awakened kundalini " . Here we know from experience that it surely is an aspect of the kundalini energies awakening in the body. Kriyas are the spontaneous movements of the five bodies of expression resulting from the awakening of Kundalini energy. Kundalini kriyas were the origin of the early yoga systems. Certain kriyas eventually developed into the asanas (postures) of Hatha yoga. This is why when we are inside of the awakening we can find ourselves adopting the yoga postures with out even knowing that they are indeed these postures! Not only will the physical body have kriyas. Emotional outbursts of extreme intensity can be seen as a kriya for the emotional body. Mental lapses or severe acuity can also be understood this way as pertaining to the mental body and so forth. A kriya is merely the result of very strong Kundalini energy infusing the inner dynamic of a particular body of expression. They can be scary to see physically until you get used to seeing them. Shaking and twisting sometimes accompanied by vocalizations of what would be considered animal sounds. Kriyas are normal and are not to be shied away from or frightened of. They aid the infusion of the Kundalini into the body(s). They can be outside of volitional control as well and if you do not know what is going on this can be somewhat terrifying as conscious control is suspended for a time. So I write this to inform you that kriyas exist and are beneficial even as strange as they may look to the outside observer they can feel very good to the one having the experience. They can also work muscles that you did not know you have. You can be sore by the end of the day from having many kriyas come through you. They can start as small jerking's of the body and then increase into large seizure like movements. They are not a seizure; they can just look like one. Often one is compelled to enter into yoga like postures that will be held for a certain amount of time. I advise that you completely surrender to these urges. They are a natural part of the Kundalini process. It can be painful if you fight them. The more you surrender the quicker you move through them. Many other attributes of a kriya nature will occur for the individual as all of the expressive bodies go through this. Information and experiences and visions and teachings of a spiritual content will also descend upon the human expressions. Bliss is often experienced in these states. Kriyas are not a guarantee. Not everyone inside of the Kundalini will have severe and or overt kriya activity. Not everyone is involved with a kriya activity that twists and turns them on the floor. Some do have this so it does bear mentioning. Others have less active or demonstrative forms occur such as back arches and which come and go but are not very severe. Spinal cracks and stretches tof the spine neck realignments etc. A jerking of the eyes is common as is a myriad of twitches and spasms. This is all normal inside of the Kundalini and nothing is wrong. Kundalini is a natural event for people and the kriya is merely a manifestation of the body absorbing a Kundalini infusion. - blessings all - chrism
Guest guest
I have been doing a lot of the arching of my back lately when presure builds up. It feels so good when there is a big spinal crack. The pulsating started in me the end of December last year. Actually the very same day I recieved the DL CD from Chrism. Hehe! they have mostly been in the lower half of my body and got stronger and stronger up until about the end of July. They got so strong it truly felt like there was something in my body moving around, much like a baby feels when it moves, but it was all over, down in my legs and every where. I would look when it got really strong and it would even look like there was something inside me moving. I can understand how people who do not know would think they have been possessed. LOL! Since the end of July the pulsating has been fading, not so strong anymore, but I have been getting the pulsatings in the upper part of my body more often now but not strong. My legs used to jerk alot when I laid down, now it is my arms jerking. Linda , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Kriya is a Sanskrit word. Guest guest
Thank you for this Chrism. Looking back I have been having yoga kriyas for a year now. I just thought it was me having the uncontrollable need to stretch, especially in bed. I can attest to the animal noises also, and they come out quite guttural in my case. Quite different to the 'dulcet tones' most people say I normally have ! In most cases I need to arch my back/spine, and alternate stretching my arms and fingers in front of me. I found myself standing in a pose with one leg bent with my foot on my thigh, like a ballet pose. At least I now know its normal for K people.
