Guest guest
I ran across this today, timely, synchronistic, and so me. No one can tell me I didn't see this today for a reason. " The Peace of Wild Things, by Wendell Berry When despair for the world grows for me and I wake in the night at the least sound in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be, I go and lie down where the wood drake rests, in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds. I come into the peace of wild things, who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief, I come into the presence of still water, and I feel above me the dayblind stars, waiting with their light, for a time, I rest in the grace of the world, and am free. Guest guest
Your are more than welcome young lady. Dayblind is such a word, it says so much. It leaps at me as well. It just so chanced into my life right when I needed it. It is an old friend, seen many times. Touched me, slapped me hard. It about awareness, and seeing what is shown to you, you have to look and see at all times. Be open to it. As soon as this fog lifts, and the rain stops, I'm standing outside looking at the night sky again, opening myself to it. The night sky has many answers, I would suggest you all spend some time with it. Old gray-haired, grumpy, geezer hugs. Don > Yes! I know that place.
