Guest guest
Even with a mature practice of Yoga it is well advised that you begin slow with the Tibetans. Have you been doing all 21 right from the start? Do you really force the stretch. i.e. do you over arch the strecth? These shouldnt be hard or a real work out unless a person is profoundly out of shape. (lol) Which Tibetan is hurting your lower back specifically? Or is it an all around soreness? - blessings Richard. - chrism , " Richard Eisenberg " <Pyaar333 wrote: >The Tibetans hurt my lower back. >
Guest guest
No I did not start with 21. I started with three, then five, then 10. They do not hurt all over. They hurt my lower back around the spine, where it always hurt if I do a little too much or if I push a little too far. The back bending ones hurt. Tibetan 3, 4 (I know that this is not a real back bend but still, it tends to hurt as I press my pelvic up to straighten out.) and 5. (The up dog part is just a killer for my back.) These are postures that I have eliminated from my practice, because they hurt, or I will just do one time for a few seconds very easily. I do mostly strengthening for my lower back and just enough back bending, cobra mostly, very carefully, to maintain some flexibility. Are the Tibetans really that much better for Kundalini practice than " regular " asanas? Are the modified Tibetans less affective? rich , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Even with a mature practice of Yoga it is well advised that you begin > slow with the Tibetans. > > Have you been doing all 21 right from the start? > Do you really force the stretch. i.e. do you over arch the strecth? > > These shouldnt be hard or a real work out unless a person is > profoundly out of shape.
