What are you building?

I've been on the spiritual path for 32 years

and have found that the more natural one can

be, the more natural will be one's unfolding.

 

The more real one can be, the more real and

permanent will be one's understanding and

evolution.

 

I found it to be like building a house. If each

moment is done with one's whole being and honesty

then the bricks laid for that moment are solid, and

one can build a strong life in the desired direction.

 

If something is added to the mix, such as alcohol

or drugs, then the so called bricks one is building

the life with are not of one's essence, and will

not build toward one's true destiny. They may

lead toward relief, and experiences, but not

toward one's true being and the path of life that

that will open to.

 

Just my perspective and experience.
