Some helpful people here attempt to give meaning to the strange stories our minds weave as we sleep. Ever since I was a child I would dream of a town and each night I went to sleep I would visit this town and interact with the people there. as a child I had difficulty separating the sleeping reality from my waking one as they were both so clear to me. In both I could touch people and feel the texture of their skin. I also touched beautiful fabrics, ate food that I could taste, and had deep conversations with my friend and the occasional enemy. As I grew I found I could work with these people who all had different characteristics and they would help me with school essays in my waking life and problems I was having at home. When I went to Fashion School for 2yrs I would go to bed with ideas for designs and in my sleep I would work out the patterns, drape of fabric and how to embellish them. Consequently at College I never worried about my work. This system has followed me all through my education, and work life. Since I have been consciously concentrating on my spiritual side my town has turned into a city. New roads and pathways have appeared and as I walk them I meet new people and new situations. As I aged I knew I was dreaming and was quite lucid, where I could fly if needed, wake myself and especially feel no fear. I notice that my city has certain burroughs where people of a particular race will stay until they are ready to move onto the centre of the city where races, ages and colours mingle. I dont know why this is, but it seems to fit nicely into the scheme of things. What I have always wanted to know is: 1) Does anyone else have a Dream City? 2) How is it laid out? 3) I believe my city to be the Astral Plane, what are your views? 4) Has anyone else read the book called " A Souls Journey " by Peter Richelieu. ? Its the nearest I have to explaining my Dream City. Blessings, Skydancer x --- End forwarded message ---
