Sharp pain in the left side of the my head -What is this ?

Starting today,i've experienced this quick,sharp burning pain,almost

like a painful pulse in the left side of my head,from my temple to my

crown in a straight line.It comes and goes and maybe i've had it 5-6

times today so it's not often but also i have a lot of heat in my right

side and my scalp hurts when i touch it.I've never had that quick

short painful pulse before.Does anyone know what it is ? Does it have

something to do with the pineal gland? Please help ?
